An injection molding optimization process development which uses the computer was desired to reduce a mold trial manufactures repetition work from the trial mistake and loss cost according to product development delay in the product development stage. The result of the CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) can not forecast the result of actual injection molding and can appear as a result entirely different from the result of actual injection molding. We enhanced CAE reliability to reduce the difference between actual injection molding and computer simulation injection molding in this research. We made necessary document for a work procedure not to apply in existing method. The work progressed in order according to the work procedure. We applied DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) technique and progressed this research for optimization design of door trim injection molding. We set up a work process, enhanced the reliability of the computer simulation injection molding and optimized the door trim injection molding condition to the result of this research.

The main purpose of this study is to develop the new design system for side impact crash performance by using the 6 step creativity TRIZ theory. To reduce occupant injury, We had to find out a efficient method. In case of Side Impact Crash, We had Commonly using the polyurethane product as Impact absorption. But this products have many problems; environmental issue, imcrease in a unit cost, difficult in Design. But Airblow Impact Pad is solved these problems. A nation have the regulation for a vehicle safety and interested in the side impact of a vehicle. But we spend a lot of money and time for the side impact test. So we must design a vehicle parts regard to the side impact test. This paper describes a new test method for side impact test. We used DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) process for design of door trim armrest. We searched the door trim armrest control factor and made the experiment plan. We researched the optimal design factor and improved the abdomen injury value of the human dummy.

The object of this research is fineness net speaker grille design and mold development and test analysis specification standardization. We established main design factor that influence in quality for speaker grille of door trim that is required from customer, achieved design optimization, and established manufacture standard, test method and test specification for request quality. We developed process for confirmation about reliability of speaker grille of door trim. We will apply process in new model design project. We apply product that study on deluxe car and will contribute to high-quality improvement. We studied actively about design condition grasping, product design technology acquirement, material application, localization of mold technology about fineness net. Injection molding technology for production, confirmation about reliability and specification and cost down through reduction of process. Result presentation of design condition, mold technology, injection molding technology and confirmation about reliability, etc consisted about fineness net speaker grille that is preceding product. Effects are world competitive power increase as engineering technology and reliability construction test method and standardization process settlement. Plan is world market conquest as apply to high-class automobile and cost down through localization, reduction of process.

We carried out impact test and simulation of door trim in order to enhance simulation accuracy of full vehicle side impact. Each door trim was fixed at rigid wall and an impactor was thrown upon it with initial velocity Plastic material property and assembly structure of door trim were thoroughly investigated to develop an appropriate analysis model. Good correlation was obtained between test and simulation. Full vehicle simulation revealed that the effect of chosen parameters was significant for injury prediction.

This research is about a door trim assessment for the passenger safety when it does a side impact. We are research about the method to verify the door trim before the full car side impact test. We have prescribed by the nation at the laws and regulations assessment method the case of a full car side impact test. But an assessment regulation about the door trim only does not exist. We related with full car side impact simulation and studied a goal performance of the door trim. We studied the goal absorption energy and impactor velocity for evaluate a door trim side impact performance. A door trim goal performance which is desired by the vehicle has the difference. We used the energy to happen after a side impact and found the goal absorption energy. We found a impactor velocity of a door trim assessment device from an energy relation. We prepared theoretical key point for a goal performance assessment about every vehicle through this research.

In case for door trim of car interior, it is assembled with plastic molding parts. There are two methods for assembling two parts with boss. The first method is screw assembling. It put together strongly each part, but it is required more cost and man hour. The second method is hot sticking method by automatic machine. This method is helpful for factory automation, and good for cost reduction, but it has disadvantage of force for taking off plastic molding parts. In this paper, it is investigated improving force of taking off assembled parts with using hot sticking method. In case of requiring low bolting force, it is possible to substitute screw method to hot sticking method. But it is need to have the similar force of screw method in taking off two parts. Now, it is studied design parameter of hot sticking boss to find appropriate height of boss head and height of initial boss height with two case, outer diameter 7.5㎜ and 8.0㎜. It is used FEM by LS-DYNA and simple regression analysis by JMP program to achieve them.
