VHF, UHF, L-대역의 RCS 계산 및 비교 연구

In this paper, we calculated and compared VHF/UHF/L-band RCS. First, we calculated monostatic and bistatic RCS of VHF/UHF/L-band radar for eight different aircraft targets(F-117, B-2, F-22, J-20, T-50, MIG-29, SU-27, F-15) using VIRAF. The mean values of calculated RCS data were compared by each frequency band and radar structure. Then, histogram method is applied to analyze the F-15 and F-117 targets. By analyzing the monostatic and bistatic RCS of VHF/UHF/L-band, we can see that the stealth target is detected effectively at the optimum bistatic angle which has the maximum RCS values. Also, we can see that the low RCS aircrafts have the largest RCS value in VHF band rather than UHF or L-band.
