The Effects of design parameters on the transport performance of the ejectors which is widely used in a production process of automotive parts were investigate experimentally. The primary nozzle geometry, the ratio (R) of nozzle exit cross-sectional area to mixing chamber cross-sectional area and the distance (S) from primary nozzle exit to mixing chamber entrance were considered as the design parameters. They were determined to run with high-efficiency by measuring the transport rate of the solid particle. The nozzle geometry and the area ratio (R) affected greatly on the ejector performance, and in particular, the area ratio (R) should be carefully selected after taking the minimum fluidization velocity of applied solid particle into account. The effects of the distance (S) on the ejector performance presented different tendency between the solid particle transport and the air transport.
