백서 두개관세포에서 Ipriflavone이 골조직 개조에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 ipriflavone (isopropoxyisoflavone)의 투여가 백서 두개관세포의 증식과 골조직 개조에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 시도되었다. 태령 20-21일째의 백서 두개관세포를 분리 배양한 후, 10^(-9) M부터 10^(-5) M까지 농도의 ipriflavone을 투여하고 1일째와 3일째에 MTT 분석을 시행하여 흡광도를 평가한 결과, 모든 농도에서 백서 두개관세포의 증식을 보이지 않았다. 한편 골조직 개조에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 14일째에 alizarin red염색을 시행하여, 형성된 석회화 결절 면적을 측정하였을 때, 10^(-8) M, 10^(-7) M, 10^(-6) M 농도를 투여한 경우 석회화 결절 형성이 유의하게 증가하였다. 골아세포의 분화에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 ipriflavone을 투여하고 7일째와 14일째에 추출한 RNA를 역전사 중합효소 연쇄반응(RT-PCR)을 시켜 bone sialoprotein (BSP), type 1 collagen (COL I), osteocalcin (OCN) 유전자 발현을 관찰한 결과 BSP와 COL I 유전자는 배양 7일째 높은 발현을 보였고, OCN 유전자는 배양 14일째 높은 발현을 보였다. 이상의 연구결과 ipriflavone이 백서 두개관세포에서 석회화를 촉진시키고 골아세포의 분화에 관여하는 BSP, COL I 및 OCN 유전자 발현을 증가시켜 골조직의 개조를 빠르게 할 수 있음을 시사하였다. lpriflavone (isoprofoxyisoflavone), a synthetic derivative from soy isoflavone diazein, has been shown to inhibit bone resorption and perhaps stimulate bone formation. This study was performed to examine the effects of ipriflavone on the proliferation and bone remodeling in rat calvarial cells in vitro. The rat calvarial cells were isolated from fetus aged 20 to 21 days and cultured in BGJb media. The graded concentration of ipriflavone (10^(-9)-10^(-5) M) was administered into cultured cells. When the cell proliferation was estimated through the measurement of MTT assay, there was no increase in cellular proliferation of the rat calvarial cell at any ipriflavone concentration. The cellular activity was evaluated through the formation of mineralized nodules stained by alizarin red. The formation of mineralized nodules significantly increased at concentrations of 10^(-8) M, 10^(-7) M and 10^(-6) M ipriflavone. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction analyses (RT-PCR) were done at 7 and 14 days after culture to detect the expression of Bone Sialoprotein (BSP), Type I collagen (COL I) and Osteocalcin (OCN). As a result, the expressions of BSP and COL I increased of the 7th day of culture and the expression of OCN increased on the 14th day of culture. These results indicate that ipriflavone facilitates the bone remodeling process by promoting rat calvarial cell differentiation and stimulating mineralization through increased expression of extracellular matrix genes, such as BSP, COL I and OCN.

잠재적 후보기술 경로 탐색방법 : 바이오 연료 사례

기존 주경로 연구는 과거 핵심기술의 진화를 구조화하는데 적합하나, 패러다임 전환기의 잠재적 후보기술 파악과 주류기술 교체를 예측하기는 어렵다. 본 연구는 링크 중요도, 성장 속도 지표, 핵심 루트 방법을 복합해 특허 인용 네트워크로부터 주경로상의 기술을 대체할 잠재적 후보기술들을 파악하는 방법을 제시한다. 링크 중요도에 기반해 주경로를 도 출하고, 성장 속도 지표를 활용해 주경로 대비 고성장하는 잠재적 후보기술 경로들을 도출한다. 성장 속도 지표는 상대적 성장성 평가에 활용되고, 이를 통해 주경로를 교체할 가능성이 높은 잠재적 후보기술을 파악할 수 있다. 차세대 기술 후보들이 다수 등장해 경쟁하고 있는 바이오 연료기술에 적용한 결과 실제 차년도에 주경로상의 기술을 교체하는 후보기술들을 파악할 수 있었다. 기술 패러다임 전환기 후보기술에 대한 정량적 분석을 가능하게 하고, 주 경로 기법의 활용범위를 미래기술 예측으로 확대한 측면에서 학문적 의의가 있다. 실무에서 는 차세대 후보기술 파악의 정확도 제고에 기여할 수 있다. Existing main path analysis is useful to clarify the backbone of technology developments over the past, but has difficulty in identifying future technology candidates, and also in anticipating changes in the mainstream technology. Our method develops a growth velocity indicator, and combines it with key-route analysis and traversal counts measure in the main path analysis. It enables us to identify rapidly growing paths of future technology candidates, and further to evaluate the relative growth potential of such paths by which can replace the mainstream technology in the main path. Our method can contribute to identifying future technology candidates in a quantitative way by using patents, and broaden the scope of main path analysis research toward foresight. It can be useful for technology strategy in practice. Biofuel technology is exemplified.

한 자원활동교사의 경험에 기반한 공부방의 의미 구성에 관한 연구

본 연구는 사회구성주의의 이론을 기반으로 하여 A공부방이라는 공간이 내부 행위자 들의 상호작용 과정에서 역동적으로 구성되고 있음을 보여주고자 한다. 공부방과 관련 한 선행연구들은 빈민 지역에 공부방이 설립하는 과정에서 표면화된 목적인 돌봄과 교 육을 공부방이 반드시 따라야 하는 고정불변의 규범으로 물화시켰다. 하지만 내부 행위 자, 더 정확하게 말해서 자원활동교사의 실천 속에서 공부방의 의미는 끊임없이 구성되 고 변화된다. 본 연구는 공부방의 학생이었다가 자원활동교사가 된 김대수의 경험들에 초점을 맞춤으로써 A공부방의 의미가 과거 학생 김대수의 경험에 체화되는 과정과 함께 현재 교사 김대수의 실천 속에서 그 의미가 만들어지는 과정을 살펴본다. 김대수와의 심 층인터뷰들은 A공부방의 사회적 의미가 변화하는 과정을 개인의 경험이라는 미시적인 차원에서 포착할 수 있도록 만들어준다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 먼저 2000년대 이후 A공부 방의 의미가 직접적인 정치색을 드러내지 않은 대안교육의 성격으로 변화하였음을 제시 한다. 그리고 현재 교사들 사이의 갈등에 주목함으로써 공부방의 의미가 내부자들의 관 점에따라서로다르게구성될수있음을보여준다. This study based by theories of social constructivism analyses that the A-Gongbubang is dynamically constructed by interactions of inside agents. Preceding researches of Gongbubangs fall into the trap of reifying the meaning of Gongbubangs as caring and educating that are perceived as the fixed norm in these studies. However, meanings of the Gongbubang are endlessly constructed and changed by practices of voluntary teachers. Focusing on “Daesu Kim”s experiences who had been a student and is a voluntary teacher of the Gongbubang, this study examines one process by which the student embodied meanings of the Gongbubang and another process through which the teacher have made meanings of the Gongbubang. In-depth interviews with him make this study to see the processes of changing social meanings of the Gongbubang into the scope of micro-dimension as personal experiences. This study, above all, presents that since 2000, direct political meanings are disappeared and the character of alternative education is important in meanings of the Gongbubang. And concerning on conflicts of voluntary teachers, this study argues that meanings of the Gongbubang can be constructed differently from insiders’ perspectives.

미국 다문화교육의 이론과 실제

Multicultural education of the United States is a good reference to designing of Korean multicutural education programs and curricula. In fact, many studies in korea refer to the U.S. case. However research on the characteristics and developments of multicultural education in the United States are rare. Being keep this in the mind, this article analyses the change of population composition which has affected the evolution MCE of the U.S., the progress of multiculturalism in America, and the reality of multicultural education. What is the implication of MCE of the U.S. to Korean Multicultural education? This is the main theme of this thesis. There are enormous differences between the Korea and the U.S. in policy milieu and the context of MCE. It is absurd to apply the experience of the U.S. to Korean MCE without modification. But the multicultural education policy of the U.S. can have meaning to Korean multicultural education. In addition, the reflection and philosophy of MCE of the U.S. can help search for appropriate MCE of Korea.

이주민의 참정권 논쟁과 다문화 민주주의의 모색

This paper examines various political and social issues, focusing on the suffrage of migrants in Korea, and seeks the direction of the development of suffrage from the perspective of democracy. To this end, we critically examine the logic of opposing the suffrage of migrants in Korea and the political and ideological background of such logic. Furthermore, reviewing the political philosophical implications of migrants' suffrage in the multicultural era from the perspective of human rights norms, he argues that if Korean society wants to move toward a multiracial and multicultural society from a normative or realistic perspective, it is necessary to expand its political rights in a broad sense. In conclusion, from the perspective of multicultural democracy, it proposed a forward-looking search for migrants' suffrage, active introduction of resident rights, the subject of multicultural social integration and the role of the Immigration Office. 본 논문은 한국에서 이주민의 참정권을 중심으로 다양한 정치사회적 쟁점을 살펴보고 민주주의의 관점에서 참정권의 발전 방향을 모색해 본다. 이를 위해 한국에서 이주민의 참정권에 반대하는 논리 및 그런 논리의 정치적, 이념적 배경을 비판적으로 검토한다. 나아가 다문화 시대에 이주민의 참정권이 가진 정치철학적 함의를 인권 규범의 관점에서 재검토하면서, 만약 한국 사회가 규범적 혹은 현실적 관점에서 다인종·다문화 사회로 나아가고자 한다면, 넓은 의미의 정치적 권리의 확장이 필요하다고 주장한다. 결론적으로 다문화 민주주의의 관점에서 이주민의 참정권에 대한 전향적인 모색, 주민권의 적극적인 도입, 다문화 사회통합의 주체와 이민청의 역할 등을 제안하였다.

AUSTRALIA 백호주의를 넘어서

호주는 인구의 43%가 외국태생이거나 혹은 적어도 부모 중 한 명이 외국에서 태어난 사람으로 구성되어 있으며, 약 2백여 개 언어가 공존하는 사회이다. 따라서 호주의 미래상은 호주 정부가 야심차게 추진하고 있는 다문화 정책의 성공 여부에 달려 있음은 두말할 나위가 없다.

다문화주의의 이론적 검토와 정당화

The object of this study is to present legitimate logic of multiculturalism through examining preexisting theoretical controversy both on pro and contra sides. Although muticulturalism is very familiar concept even in the Korea society, there is no comprehensive agreement on the meaning of it. Multiculturalism is based on the inevitable cultural plurality in human society. The recognition that multi-cultural situation is inescapable in human society demands to develop an appropriate scheme, in which we are able to deal with it. As a cognitive framework, multiculturalism plays positive role in the democratic and diverse society under the globalization. Multiculturalism contributes to enhance equlity that is a core value of modern democracy. Based upon the value of equality, it promotes integration of residents of the society who have diverse background in terms of ethnic, language, and religion. Lastly, multiculturalism represents a deep concern about the inherent rights of human being, which are being advanced through reflection on the dark side of modernity, such as racism and ethnocentrism. This article suggests the legitimacy of multiculturalism, it is necessary to be opened to the continued critical examination, however. This will enrich the contents of it as for policy to cure the practical problem of the modern world.
