The purpose of this study is to provide an understanding of the designs that aid in the production or selection of clothing that generally corresponds with the contours of the human body. The study looks at effective and attractive clothing design used in various situations with the goal of gaining understanding of the nuances of women``s jackets. To achieve the goals of this jacket study, a sensuous test was employed and several horizontal sections, based on silhouette appearance, were compared and then analysed. The sensuous test was aimed at understanding the visual effects of the silhouette of the jacket.
의류 매장 디스플레이에 관한 소비자의 견해에 대한 조사 연구

For investgating the consummer's opinion about the display of clothing- store, this research was carried out in reference to 800 females students whose major is clothing & textiles, from March 1. 1991 to April 30. 1991. The result was as Fellows : 1. Consumers preferred clothing specialty store which sells National brands and Desigiers' brands the most due to variety of merchandise. They considered design as the most important factor when purchasing clothes. They also used newspaper, magazines, TV advertisings for fashion information. 2. Consumers were conscious of the necessity and effect of display highly. They perceived the purpose of display looking merchandise prominent. The way of display and selling space organization were shown to affect the purchase of clothes. Lack of orginality and jammed merchandise in display area were indicated to have to be improved. 3. Consumers were impressed by interior and general atmosphere of the store. They indicated that moving distance in the store according to merchandise layout was short for the most part. However, they criticizd lack forest area in the store and too much merchandise in display area. 4. Consumers preferred mannequin as display fixture for women's wear. They perceived display props as actualization of merchandise image. And they usually used analogous color scheme. They also used lighting to help general atmosphere in the store.

The purpose of this study is to find at the basic data for the appropriate conditions of the pillows for the Koreans as well as, for the appropriate conditions to establish the estimating critical for the pillows on the market place. This paper also aims to grasp the characteristics of the materials used to make the pillows for sale. The methods employed for this investigation are as follows ; The thermal poperity of the pillows has been investigated from the ergonomics standpoints, and the thermal physiological function has been studied by means of theoretical methods. The thermal property of the pillow materials on market has been investigated by means of ergonomic and physical experiments. The major findings are as follows ; 1) As for the thermal property of the pillows, the pillow is needed to cool its user's head as far as it doesn't shock its users. 2) In thermal property of the pillow material, wood is in highest grade, buck wheat chaff, chaff and cigar filter are higher and panya, two kinds of fiber is in the lowest grade. 3) The cooling effect in the early stage of duck feather is highest but the effect keeping warm glowed up according as using time elapsed.
