디젤 엔진에서 구동 조건에 따른 피스톤 링의 마찰 특성 분석

This study was performed to analysis friction characteristics of piston ring with modeling. Reynolds equation is used in modeling method. To solve Reynolds equation, boundary and equilibrium conditions is applied. As gaining lubricant film pressure distribution by Reynolds equation, the friction and power loss of piston ring is calculated. Through analyzing the result data, It has developed that the friction and power loss of piston ring increase with engine rotating speed. This result can be used for acquirement of contribution about total FMEP(friction mean effective pressure).
