The generation of electric power and plant facilities have been attempting to improve energy efficiency with many efforts as those being basis of our country's economy. In particular, the CHP(Combined Heat Power plant) system, is producing the electricity and process steam, has generally been using for the cogeneration plants. When CHP system operates, the steam has to maintain the high temperature and high pressure in order to have high efficiency of electric power production as much as possible. In addition, the exhausted steam from the turbine has to reform proper temperature to use the needed process. The major purpose of desuperheater is that the superheated steam changes into the saturated steam because it is more efficient and suitable for using the process, furthermore, it is more convenient and stable regarding the process temperature control. The design of the desuperheater obtained through the experiment and preceding analysis. This paper is verified by analysis that water spray nozzle(Φ=28㎜) shows the best ability under the real power plant condition.

The major purpose of LP(Low Pressure) turbine bypass valve is that the superheated steam changes into the saturated steam and high pressure change into low pressure the because it is more efficient and suitable for using the process, furthermore, it is more convenient and stable regarding the process temperature control. This study analyze how Turbine bypass (which desuperheat by using multi-hole in cage & desuperheat performance) shows the fluid characteristics according to the change of Nozzle on multi water spray type of spray fluid characteristics, temperature characteristics through experiment & analysis.

Facilities and economic development of plant facilities, the countrys underlying facilities to improve the energy efficiency of many studies are under way. In particular, ultra supercritical pressure power plants or under construction, stops the development of the critical pressure power plants and boilers that contributes main feed water control valve or main steam dump valve at the fluid cavitation and vibration control out of pipes and valves due to breakage and damage to parts of the plant raises a number of cases has caused them to stop the coup. In this study, we confirmed through the analysis of computation fluid dynamics and field demonstration test that in the control valve trim structure, 3-D Wave Trim with the flow path of Z-axis fluid collision, XY-axis labyrinth and flexion type could dissipate the energy by fluid resistance, turn number, flow path area etc and result in pressure drop down.

The conventional control valves have been used at the locations occurring high differential pressure and high temperature which causes cavitation, flashing, severe vibration due to abrupt flow change, and sudden pressure drop. Previous studies concerning control valves focused to prevent damage of valve trim due to the internal leak and low flow rate. The newly designed helical trim of control valve has been installed at the location of high pressure change and high temperature in a power plant, and operated for evaluation. It is confirmed that the new control valve developed in this study generates flow characteristics in comparison with previous helical trim of control valves.

The important use of the desuperheater(multi spray type) changes the superheated steam into the saturated steam. It is more efficient and suitable for using the process. Also, it is more convenient and stable regarding the process temperature control. In this study, transient and quasi-static analysis were done for the evaluation of structural integrity of the multi spray type desuperheater of the power plant. Computational analysis was used to calculate the thermal stress, and the vibration test was done to evaluate the structural stability. This paper is verified by analysis that water spray nozzle(?=28㎜) shows the best ability. The results show that structural stability of the desuperheater under the real operating condition was proven.

Multi-blade fan has large applications to industry and home appliance products. The application field becomes larger and larger as the industry is going on developing. Specially, the use of the blower is possible for the case of air purifiers with high inlet resistance for filtering process. The performance of a whole air conditioning system depends on the efficiency of individual part used in that system. In this investigation, we studied the effect of parameters of impeller which has to be considered in design step for optimal operation. The flow characteristics in Automobile of the multi-blade fan are investigated by PIV.

One of the major complications of craniotomy is hemorrhage. Postoperative hemorrhages usually occur at the site of the operation but can also occur remotely. Although there are few reports in the literature, remote intracerebral hemorrhages cause significant morbidity and mortality. Our report a case of catastrophic cerebellar hemorrhage after intraventricular tumor surgery. Relevant literature are reviewed and discussed.
