Nondestructive testing by using surface hardness method, ultrasonic pulse-velocity method and impact-echo resonant method was performed for the estimation of compressive strength of and the detection of flaws in concrete structures. A wide band displacement, and a wide band velocity sensor and a portable impact-echo testing equipment were developed. Those had quite good characteristics and performance for testing concrete. Relatively resonable testing method for estimating compressive strength was surface hardness method even though the results have large error of about 20 %. The other methods for measuring compressive strength was applicable only in the range lower than about 250 kg/cm<sup>2</sup>. The flaws and cracks in concrete structure were well detected and those sizes and locations were well evaluated by impect-echo test.
