      • 훈증제 sulfuryl fluoride ($SO_2F_2$)의 궐련벌레(Lasioderma serricorne, Fabricius)에 대한 방제효과 및 몇 가지 금속류 성상에 미치는 영향

        Insecticidal effect or sulfuryl fluoride ($SO_2F_2$) to cigarette beetle, Lasiodema serricorne (F.), was studied in two different containers, one was 1m$^3$(without cardboard block) and the other was 0.5m$^3$(with cardboard block). Adults and larvae were transferred into a small metal can before placed in the containers. Each can was held for 8, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours after $SO_2F_2$(10, 20, 30, and 40 g/$\ell$) treatment. All adults were killed in an 1m$^3$container. Larval mortality was 99 to 100% when the dosage of SO$_2$F$_2$was 10 and 20 g/$\ell$. Cardboard was attached between two 0.5m$^3$ containers ; one was fumigation area and the other was insect area. SO$_2$F$_2$ penetrated cardboard within 24 hours in most trials. $SO_2F_2$could affect all adults and larvae regardless of their susceptibility. All adults were killed at 8 hours in a 0.5m$^3$ container. But low mortality of larvae was recorded at 8 hours when small dosage was treated (30% in 10 g/$\ell$, 87.2% in 20 g/$\ell$). The mortality was increased as SO$_2$F$_2$ dosage increased. Six different metals (stainless, copper, brass, aluminum, iron, and zinc) were also tested to study metal corrosion and discoloration. No corrosion and discoloration was observed in most metals treated with $SO_2F_2$.

        솔잎혹파리 발생예찰을 위한 우화기구 개발에 관한 연구 2 : 우화기구별온도효과가 우화소장에 미치는 영향

        본 실험은 몇가지 우화기구를 사용하여 기구형에 따른 우화상내 온도변화가 솔잎혹파리의 우화소장에 미치는 영향 및 유충의 월동기간중의 온도변화와 우화소장간의 관계를 알아 보기 위하여 각처리별 우화소장을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) 우화기구별 상내 최고온도는 현저한 차리를 나타내어 대조구에 비하여 Vinyl형은 월평균 가 높았고 다른 처리구에 있어서도 가 높았는데 다른 처리구에 있어서도 가 높았는데 표준형의 순이었다. 2) 처리별유충의 월동기간중의 최저온도분포는 현저한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 3) Vinyl형 처리구에서는 우화최성일이 5월 15로 대조구에 비하여 20일 앞당겨했고 표준형구와 Cage-50구도 14일 빨라졌다. 4) Funnel형 처리구에 있어서는 최고온도 및 적산온도의 분포가 대조구에 비하여 높았음에도 불구하고 우화최성일은 6일이 지연되었다. 5) 유충의 월동기간중의 온도처리효과는 12월중순과 3월중순의 최고온도의 상승이 우화최성일을 앞당기는 효과를 나타내었다. This experiments were performed to investigate the temperature effects, which caused by the various types of collecting trap treatments, during the overwintering period of pine gall midge larvae, on the peak adult emergence time. And the following results were obtained. 1) The maximum temperatures inside of the collection traps were significantly different each other, and the vinyl cage showed the highest degree which highering , and standard cage, cage-50 and funnel trap highering in monthly average comparing to control. 2) There was no significant difference among the treatment in minimum temperatures, during the overwintering periods of larvae. 9) The peak adult emergence time were May 15 in vinyl cage plot which shortened 20 days and both standard cage and cage-50 shortened 14 day than that of control. 4) The funnel type trap treatment delayed 6 days of the peak adult emergence comparing to control, in spite of the treatment showing higher maximum and cumulative temperatures than the control plot. 5) The decadal maximum temperatures of middle part of December and March were significantly correlated with the shortening of the peak adult emergence date.

        감마선을 이용한 궐련벌레(Lasioderma serricorne F) 방제에 관한 연구

        궐련벌레(Lasioderma serricorne F)가 제품담배내 오염되었을때의 방제방법으로 감마선 이용법을 선전 방제효과를 조사하였다. Gelatin capsules에 공시충을 넣은 다음 감마선을 조사해 본 결과 0.8kGy이상의 선량에서 난태는 모두 살충되었고 용태나 성충때 및 유충태는 0~30%가 살충되었다. 몇가지 제품담배값내에 공시충을 함유한 gelatin capsules이 삽입된 궐련을 넣은후 감마선 조사시의 궐련벌레 충태별 방제효과도 동일한 결과를 얻었다. 감마선의 영향을 받은 궐련벌레의 성충 및 유충태를 인공먹이로 사육해 본 결과 차세대 개체군 증식이 확인되지 않았다. 감마선에 노출된 궐련벌레의 각 충태는 선량이 높아질수록 생존기간이 짧아졌으며 4령 유충이 처리 공시충중 가장 오래 생존하였다. 감마선에 노출된 제품담배의 고유향기나 맛은 선량 증가에도 영향을 받지 않았다. 감마선이 처리된 제품담배의 포갑지나 궐련지 및 은박지 등은 고유의 색도 또한 변화하지 않았다. Similar results were also obtained in the control efficacy of the beetle when seuqal kinds ot currently produced ngarettes containing m gelatin capsules were inadhated with gamma ray The cigarette beetle adults and larvae surviving gamma ray inadiatlon were reared on artificial d~etsto show that there were no reproduc. tions was observed in the second generation. The survival periods for each growth stage became shoter with increase gamma ray dosage. The fouirh instar larvae had the longest sulvlvai periods No sign~ficant changes of cigarette flavor and taste were noticed alter gamma ray inadiation. The cigarette packet, metal fotl for packet and cigarette paper by the inad~atlon were not discolored by irradiation.

        보리나방살이고치벌(Bracon hebetor Say)의 생물학적 특성에 관한 연구

        원료 잎담배를 가해하는 저장해충의 하나인 다색알락명나방(Ephestia elutella H.)에 기생하여 개체군밀도에 영향하는 보리나방살이고치벌(Bracon hebetor S.)은 저장창고에서 4월 초순에 처음 발생하였다. 저장창고에서의 발생최성기는 년 2회를 가지며 그 시기는 5월 중순과 9월 중, 하순경이었다. 보리나방살이고치벌의 숙주에 따른 생물학적 특성을 보면 숙주당 산란수는 3.5$\pm$0.53~12.6$\pm$2.33개이었고 숙주 한 개체에서 우화되는 성충수는 한점쌀명나방(Paralipsa gularis Z.)에서 4.43$\pm$1.67마리로 가장 많았다. 우화된 기생봉들 중 61.9~63.6%가 수컷이었으며 숙주간 우점율에서는 차이가 크지 않았다. Tobacco moth, Ephestia elutella H., is one of the most serious insect pests of stored tobacco. Their ecto-parasitic hymenoptera, Braron hebetor S., had two peak times of adults emergence i.e. middle of May and late of September in tobacco warehouse. B. hebetor S. layed 12.6$\pm$2.33 eggs on a larva of Paralipsa gularis Z., 6.2$\pm$0.67 eggs on a larva of Plodia interpunctella(H.) and 3.5$\pm$0.53 eggs on a larva of Ephestia elutella(H.). Emerged adults of parasitic hymenoptera were calculated on each host such as 4.43$\pm$1.67, 3.00$\pm$0.93 and 2.34$\pm$0.21. Larval periods of B. hebetor S. on each larvae of various hosts were investigated 7-9 days and pupal periods were 8-10 days, respectively. The sex ratio of B. hebetor S. with P. gularis Z., P. interpunctella H. and E. elutella H. as hosts, were found to be 63.1, 63.6 and 61.9% male, respectively.

        A survey was carried out by the author from 3 July to 30 September, 1968 towards 426 children who were accommodated at institutions for children away from homes in Seoul and Taejon Cities on their physical and mental development. The study led to the following major findings: 1. Major causes for leaving home and family consisted of unstable family background, unfavorable relationship between children and parents and economic and financial difficulties. 2. Physical development in terms of heights and weights measured turned out to be substandard, much similar to children in the slums of urban areas. Differences from the ordinary children appeared to be widened with the advancing ages of children. Kaup-Index proved to be an inappropriate measure of nutritional status of the children in institutions to be compared with that of the ordinary children. 3. Average Intelligence Quotient was 89.02 for the children in institutions. 4. Children in lower age group in institutions demonstrated a relative superiority in discrimination and inferiority in identification and arithmetic reasoning. 5. Children in higher age group in the institutions demonstrated a relative superiority in reasoning of spatial relationship and inferiority in numeral reasoning and in vocabulary. 6. The I.Q for children in school ages rose with advancing educational attainment. 7. Correlation did not seem to exist between Kaup-Index and I.Q.. 8. Status of accommodation of children at the institutions suggested necessity of strengthening services for children away from homes and services to prevent children from leaving homes and families.
