한국의 서해 서핑 참여자의 참여 유형에 관한 Q 방법론적 연구

본 연구는 서해 만리포 해수욕장 서핑참여자에 대한 유형별 특성을 분석하는 것이며, 참여 유형에 미치는 영향을규명하기 위한 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 서해 서핑을 하러 오는 참여자 20명을 대상으로설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구대상자의 참여 유형을 규명하기 위하여 Q 방법론을 적용하였다. Q 진술은 23개를 선정하였다. 연구대상자가 Q 진술문을 직접 분류하였다. 분류된 Q 진술문은 QUANL 1.2 프로그램을 사용하여 3가지참여 유형으로 분류하였다. 각 유형의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘성취감 유형’은 서핑이라는 스포츠를 통해 주변사람들과 깊은 사회관계를 가질 수 있고 지인들과 바다에서 서핑할 때의 만족감을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, ‘거리 및 안전 유형’은 서핑 참여를 위한 장소 선택에 있어 대중교통을 이용하거나 자차로 서핑 스팟까지 이동할경우 파도의 크기, 날씨, 바람의 영향보다 가까운 거리의 선택과 서핑 참여에 있어 안전을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, ‘자연친화적 유형’은 서해에서 볼 수 있는 아름다운 선셋(노을)과 만리포니아(만리포+캘리포니아)라는 자연환경을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of the study was to analyze the participation patterns of surfing participants in west sea of Korea. In order to achieve the study purpose, a survey was conducted on 20 participants who came to surf in the West Sea. The Q methodology was applied to identify the type of participation of the study subjects. 23 Q statements were selected. The study subjects directly classified the Q statement. The classified Q statements were classified into three participation types using the QUANL 1.2 program. The characteristics of each type are as follows. First, 'achievement type' was found to deep social relationships with people around them through a sports called surfing and prefer satisfaction when surfing with acquaintances in the sea. Second, the 'distance and safety type' was found to prefer safety in surfing participation and selection of close distances rather than the influence of waves, weather, and wind when using public transportation or moving to surfing spots on their own. Third, the “natural-friendly type” was found to prefer the beautiful sunset and the natural environment of Manripo+California, which can be seen in the West Sea.
