본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향과 유아의 자율성 수준에 따라 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향력이 달라질 수 있기에 조절효과를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 대구지역에 소재한 유치원에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 290명과 그의 어머니 290명을 분석대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 어머니의 배경적 변인에 따른 코칭역량과의 관계 및 어머니의 코칭역량과 유아의 행복감과의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson의 상관관계분석을 실시하였고, 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향 및 자율성 조절효과를 탐색하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 어머니의 배경적 변인과 코칭역량과의 상관관계에서는 어머니의 학력, 부모교육경험, 수입이 높을수록 어머니의 코칭역량이 높은 것으로 나타났고, 어머니의 코칭역량과 유아의 행복감 간에도 모두 정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 실행역량, 관계역량, 의식역량 순으로 유아의 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 유아의 자율성 조절효과를 살펴본 결과, 유아의 자율성 6가지 하위요소 중 유아의 자발성, 추구성, 우월성에서 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향력을 검증하였고 유아의 자율성 조절효과를 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 어머니의 코칭역량을 향상시키기 위한 부모교육의 바탕이 될 유용한 자료의 제공과 부모코칭 프로그램 개발의 자료를 제공하여 어머니의 코칭역량을 원활히 수행하고 유아의 행복감을 향상시킬 수 있도록 돕는다. This study aims at figuring out the effects of coaching ability of mothers on kindergarten children"s happiness, and investigating moderating effects of children"s autonomy, as the influence of coaching capability of mothers on kindergarten children"s happiness could be different depending on children"s autonomy. This study collected data from 290 children who are 5 years old and attend in kindergarten in Daegu, and 290 mothers of theirs. And by using SPSS 21.0, in order to know relations between mother"s background variables and coaching capability of mother and relations between coaching capability of mother and kindergarten children"s happiness, Pearson"s correlation analysis was conducted. For exploring effects of coaching capability of mothers on kindergarten children"s happiness, and modulating effects of children"s autonomy, multiple regression analysis was conducted. as a result of the analysis of correlations between mother"s background variables and coaching capability, as mother"s educational attainment is higher, there were more parental education experiences, and mother"s income is higher, coaching capability of mother is higher and as a result of the analysis of correlations between coaching capability of mother and kindergarten children"s happiness, mother"s coaching capability and all sub-elements of kindergarten children"s happiness have positive correlations. For the effects of coaching capability of mother on the entire happiness of children, execution capability has the highest effect on it and then relation and consciousness capabilities follows in order. To know moderating effects of children"s autonomy in the effects of coaching capability of mothers on kindergarten children"s happiness, as a result to review six sub-elements of children"s autonomy, children"s voluntaries, pursuit, superiority had moderating effects children"s autonomy. Based on the results of the study, in order to provide useful sources for foundation of parent education and for developing parental coaching programs, it also aims at helping mother"s coaching capability to be smoothly and to improve kindergarten children"s happiness.

어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 행복감에 미치는 영향 : 유아의 자율성 조절효과를 중심으로

This study aims at investigating the effects of mothers’ coaching ability on their children’s happiness and the moderating effects of young children’s autonomy. This study collected data from 290 children who were 5 years old and attended in kindergarten in Daegu city and 290 mothers of theirs. Data analysis conducted Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analyses using SPSS 21.0. For exploring effects of mothers’ coaching capability on their children’s happiness and the modulating effects of young children’s autonomy, multiple regression analysis was conducted. The findings were as follows: 1) the variables of mothers’ educational backgrounds, parental training experiences, and their incomes were positively and significantly related with their coaching capabilities. 2) Mothers’ coaching capabilities had significant effects on their children’s happiness. Among the subcategories execution capability had the highest effect and then, relation and consciousness capabilities follows in order. 3) Children’s spontaneity, pursuit, and superiority among the six subcategories of children’s autonomy had significant moderating effects on children’s happiness. This study provides useful data for developing parental training programs that can facilitate and improve parents’ coaching capability for improving their children’s happiness.
