국내 수업분석의 연구동향 파악을 위한 체계적 문헌 고찰

수업분석은 수업의 질과 교원역량 향상에 중요한 역할을 하며, 초중등 교육 맥락에서 수업분석의 시사점을 얻기 위해서는 면대면 교실 환경에서 이루어지는 수업분석에 대한 고찰이 필요하다. 효과적인 수업분석을 위해서는 명확한 목적을 바탕으로 분석대상을 선정해야 하며, 적합한 분석방법과 도구를 계획하고 실행해야 한다. 그러나 수업분석 연구를 실시함에 있어서 수업의 다양성과 복잡성으로 연구 대상 선정과 분석을 위해 수집할 데이터 및 분석 방법의 선정에 어려움을 겪기 쉽다. 이러한 상황에서 체계적 문헌 고찰을 통해 기존 수업분석 연구의 목적과 대상을 파악하여 추후 수업분석자가 연구를 진행하는 데 도움을 얻을 수 있다. 본 연구는 2014년에서 2023년까지 출판된 문헌을 체계적으로 고찰하여 국내 수업분석의 최근 동향을 탐색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 총 42편의 국내 논문을 선정하고 수업분석의 연구 목적, 대상, 수집 데이터, 분석 방법에 대해서 선행연구와 오픈코딩을 통해 도출된 분석틀을 활용하여 체계적으로 문헌을 검토하였다. 연구 목적으로는 수업 요소를 분석해 수업의 현상태를 이해하기 위해 수행된 연구가 가장 높은 빈도로 나타났다. 수업분석의 연구 대상으로 교사의 언어적 표현과 수업 운영을 택한 연구가 많았다. 42개의 연구 중 34개의 연구에서 비디오 데이터를 활용하였다. 분석 방법으로 분석 범주 활용 양적 분석을 활용한 경우가 가장 많았으며, 그 다음으로 많이 사용된 질적 내용 분석 방법은 주로 다른 연구 방법과 함께 활용되었다. 본 연구는 수업분석의 국내 연구 동향을 파악해 추후 수업분석 연구의 방향성을 제시하며, 연구 대상 확장과 현장 데이터 활용의 중요성을 강조하고, 데이터 분석 방법의 현대화를 제안한다. Teaching analytics is vital for improving teaching quality and teachers’ professional practice. For providing implications for classrooms, investigation of teaching analytics in face-to-face classroom contexts is necessary. Effective teaching analytics entails the selection of subjects for analysis based on clear objectives, along with planning and execution of the right methods and tools. Yet, the diversity and complexity of teaching makes the selection of research subjects and analytical methods a challenging endeavor. A systematic review of teaching analytics can reveal the objectives and research subjects of prior research, guiding future work. This study reviews literature from 2014 to 2023 to explore recent trends of teaching analytics in Korea. We reviewed a total of 42 papers, analyzing study objectives, objects of analysis, data sources, and analytic methods through a framework based on prior literature and open coding. As a result, the current study found that most research aimed to understand teaching, and teachers’ verbal expressions and classroom management were the objects that were analyzed most frequently. Video data was used in 34 of the 42 studies, and quantitative analysis using a categorized set of standards was most common, followed by qualitative content analysis, which was often used in tandem with other methods. This research provides implications for future directions of teaching analytics research in Korea by outlining its current trends, suggesting a broader focus on various objects of analysis, the importance of data directly collected from classrooms, and the need to update analysis methods.
