데코파쥐는 중세 이후에 시작된 기법으로 다양한 분야에서 하나의 공예 기법으로 인정받고 표현 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 이 논문은 데코파쥐 기법의 이해를 돕고 새로운 발전 방안을 모색하는데 있어 작품의 영역 이해와 문양에 대한 데이터 구축과 이해를 돕는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 다양한 저서와 논문, 인터넷 자료들을 통해 데코파쥐 기법을 이해하고 적용 사례를 용도별로 분석해보고 이에 적용되고 있는 문양들을 자료와 인터넷 데코파쥐 재료 구매 사이트들을 분석하여 그 특성을 문양의 중심인 텍스타일 분야의 문양 분류 방법에 맞춰 분석해보았다. 현재 크게 문양만을 기본으로 볼 땐 그 발전 상황은 미미하게 보인다. 그러나 실내 장식과 접목한 다양한 시도와 인쇄의 발달과 각종 마감재의 발달, 그리고 현대의 아트 프린트와 사진, 그리고 그래픽의 응용을 활성화한다면 실용적이고 활용이 용이한 이 기법은 그 활용도가 폭넓게 발전할 것으로 기대되며 우리나라의 오색전지 기법을 이러한 문양 적용 방법과 다양한 용도 개발에 접목해 활용하면 우리나라 관광 민예품 개발에도 큰 기여를 할 수 있으리라 기대된다. The purpose of this research is to build the basis to establish data for understanding the production realms and the patterns to help understand the decoupages technique that has been recognized as hand craft techniques in diverse fields and expanding the expression realms and to explore new ways of its development. The characteristics of the applicable patterns were analyzed in accordance with the pattern classification methods of the textile field, which is the center of patterns, by understanding the decoupages techniques through the books and dissertation data and analyzing the applicable cases by use and analyzing the patterns applied to this and the relevant data and the Internet decoupages materials purchase sites. When this technique is seen roughly from the view point of pattern as basics, its development circumstances look minimal, but if diverse attempts to engrave it into interior decorations, the development of printing and the development of various finishing materials and modern art print and photos and the application of graphics are vitalized, the degree of utilizing this technique, which is practical and easy to use, is expected to be widely expanded, and if our country`s traditional five color paper hand craft techniques are engraved to such pattern application methods and the development of diverse uses, it is expected to make great contribution to the development of our country`s folk art articles.

현대 예술은 규정된 경계를 허물며 일상에서 익숙한 것들, 전통적으로 사용되어 왔던 표현과 재료, 기법 등을 재해석하며, 변용과 융합으로 자유로움과 다양성을 추구하고 있다. 니팅은 오래전부터 일상에 가까이 존재하는 것으로, 선으로 된 고리에 의해 구조가 형성되어 있으며, 고리와 고리가 얽혀있는 구조 자체가 조형성을 촉발시킨다. 반복적으로 생성된 고리의 조직은 신축성을 갖으며, 또한 의도에 따라 개방성, 폐쇄성, 투명성, 경량성, 확장성 등을 내재하게 된다. 이는 연속적인 선의 궤적에 따른 결집과 해체에서 발생된 것이다. 선의 결집과 해체는 중첩적, 장식적, 가변적인 조형적 구조로 표현되어 현대 예술과 산업의 다양한 분야에서 변용되고 융합되어지고 있다. 특히 최근에는 혁신적인 기술로 빠르게 확산되고 있는 3D 프린팅과 결합되어, 예술가들은 그들의 조형 세계를 독창적으로 표출시키는 방편으로 니팅의 구조를 활용하고 있으며, 산업에서는 기능적인 목적과 결합되어 새로운 패러다임을 제시하며 궁극적으로 인류의 행복한 삶을 위한 새로운 가치를 창출시키고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 니팅의 조형적인 구조가 현대 예술과 산업에서 변용되고 융합된(3D 프린팅을 중심으로) 사례를 들어 그 활용 가능성을 제시하고 있다. Modern Art by it`s very nature breaks down barriers, redefines the everyday, traditional materials and techniques and seeks to transfigure, converge to allow freedom and diversity. Knitting has always been well in the traditional method of styles with line and loop structures or loop and loop as building blocks for complex structures. These continuous loop structures acquire an elasticity and according to the intent of the designer acquires an openness, confinement, transparency, lightness, expansive qualities. These qualities derive from the repetitive lines formed in the knitting process of combining and deconstructing. Such constructs are expressed as repetitive, decorative, variable structures used in a transforming and converging manner in modern art as well as industry. Especially within the rapidly developing field of 3D printing, knitting structures are being utilized in a variety of capacities for artists in realizing their visions and work. In industry, such structures are used to fortify on a structural level, really setting a new paradigm shift for a new lifestyle. This paper looks into examples (specifically within 3D printing) of how knitting structures are impacting the field of industry and modern art and the possibilities it holds.
