Woven sisal textile fiber reinforce composites are used to evaluates fracture toughness, tensile and three point bending. All specimens are producted that were repeated water absorption on five times and aged 400 day in this study. Two kind of polymer matrices such as epoxy and vinyl-ester are used. Fractured surface are taken to study the failure mechanism and fiber matrix interfacial adhesion. It is shown that in can be enhanced to improve their mechanical performance to reveal the relationship between fracture toughness and water absorption fatigue according to different polymer matrices.

The joint parts' of bus frame are mostly made up of welding joint. By the impact and fatigue load, cracks initiate in the welding joint part, thus the frame come to final failure. So, it is necessary to improve the welding performance and fracture resistance of welding part in structure. In this study, the constant load fatigue test was carried out about the bus underbody frame, and it was studied how the fatigue life was affected by the influence of the plug welding method and dimensions.<br/> <br/>

This study was intended to use for the fatigue test in real structures and offer basic data for optimum welding structure design through observing the effect of the size and distance of plug welding hole on the static strength and fatigue life of welding structer under the shear/bending load for the inprovement of fatigue life of plug welding joint between S/MBR and C/MBR in the lower structure of large bus.<br/>
