운동처방 분야 체육지도자의 수요전망과 관련 대학교육의 내실화 방안

운동처방분야 체육지도자는 병의원이나 보건소와 같은 의료기관과 스포츠센터, 경기단체와 같은 체육시설 등에서 운동검사, 스포츠재활, 운동교육을 실시하는 자를 말한다. 건강에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 운동처방분야 체육지도자의 수요는 날로 증가되고 있는 반면에 국가공인 자격제도의 미비로 유능한 체육지도자의 양성 및 배치가 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적은 운동처방분야 체육지도자의 직업능력개발을 위한 대학교육의 질적 역량을 개발하는 것이다. 구체적인 문제 해결을 위해 운동처방관련 교수, 전문가 및 현장 실무자 합동세미나, 토론회, 심층면담을 통하여 다양한 의견을 수렴하는 질적 방법으로 이루어졌다. 1. 우리나라 운동처방 관련 학과(전공) 대학의 교육현황 조사와 운동처방분야 전문인력 수요 조사 등을 실시하였다. 2. 운동처방 관련 대학의 교육 내용의 질적 향상과 내실화 방안을 모색하기 위하여 국내외 대학 교과과정을 분석하고 이와 관련된 국내외 각종 문헌정보를 수집하여 고찰하였으며 효율적이고 효과적인 실기교육 방안을 수립하기 위해 보건의료 분야의 실기교육 방식의 사례조사연구를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 이론 강좌 및 실험실습 교육의 교수요목 분류지침을 제시하였다. 민간단체 및 운동관련 학과 학생들의 자조적이고 열정적인 노력이 높게 평가되고 미래 발전적 가능성이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 국가 차원에서의 공인된 자격 인증이 절실히 요구되며, 운동처방분야 체육지도자에 대한 직업능력 분석 및 양성, 교육, 검정 평가, 보수교육 및 창업에 대한 체계적인 시스템이 마련되어야 할 것이다. 이 연구는 이러한 체계적인 시스템을 마련하기 위한 기본지침이 될 것이며, 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 운동처방부문 체육지도자 양성제도를 개선하고 교육평가 기능을 활성화하여 운동사 직업능력을 극대화함으로써 관련 직종의 취업 및 창업을 활성화 할 수 있기를 바란다. In the field of Exercise Prescription, health/fitness leaders are working in clinics, community health departments, sports centers and sports associations to perform exercise testing, sports injury rehabilitation, and exercise instruction. Currently, there is a greater need for health/fitness leaders due to health issues that are increasing among Korean. Also, the government is not managing national certification administration in a way that meets these demands. The purpose of this study is to ensure the development of quality educational competencies and clinical proficiencies through the development of occupational skills and abilities in the field of Exercise Prescription. To accomplish this purpose, the following research methods were applied: Professional workshops and seminars, forums, and opinion collections as well as literature reviews, case study reviews, data analyses, and surveys. The research was designed to: 1) Examine the current college curriculum and the demands for experts in the field of Exercise Prescription. 2) Research best practices in education and modify current teaching methods in the classroom and laboratories settings. To produce quality research, an analysis of domestic and international educational curriculums and all necessary global documents were searched and reviewed. Additionally, to improve the administration of practical proficiencies, all domestic health allied professional practical proficiencies were reviewed and studied. Based on this search and review, the necessary education competencies and clinical proficiencies were developed. Currently, private organizations and students in exercise science related majors are highly recognized for their self-help and passion for their professional development. As such, the government needs to consider launching a national certification administration with a more systematic approach to include an analysis of job capability, education, evaluation, continuing education, and new business openings. This research project will direct a step-by-step systematic approach to preparing qualified Exercise Specialist in the field of Exercise Prescription. The results of this study can be used to reform and revitalize the professional training system and training administration of exercise specialists by maximizing occupational capacity, particularly in the area of providing job opportunities in an expanding Korean health/fitness business community.
