      • BIM 에 기반한 한국전통건축의 곡형부재 응용

        This paper starts with an approach to Korean traditional building design using BIM tool as a design methodology where Korean traditional buildings show some difference rather as weaknesses in handling curves and curved members and the construction. BIM design tools, that are adequate in treating modern architectural design vocabularies, show some disadvantages not having necessary elements and components as building libraries. In this paper we build our own libraries adequate to the proper assembling way of Korean traditional buildings. In contrast to the diverse use of straight building members, Korean traditional buildings show rare use of curves and/or curved members in their assemblage. Moreover, in the case of a circular plan, mostly a circle is interpreted in terms of polygons such as square, hexagon or octagon. In this paper, we examine Gwanram-Jung in Changduk Palace, which is probably the only example in Korea showing a use of curves and/or curved members in assemblage. We try to interpret the case as an incomplete prototype and apply in a modern way to complete a circular plan in terms of circular arcade.

        입도에 따른 Flake Sendust 전파 흡수체의 특성 분석

        본 논문에서는 연자성 금속 분말인 sendust를 flake화 과정을 통하여 형상과 입도를 변화시켜 전파 흡수체를 제작하고, 그 특성을 분석하였다. 먼저 attrition milling에 의해 입도를 달리한 세 종류의 flake sendust 분말과 지지재인 CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene)를 이용하여 전파 흡수체를 제작하고, 이 전파 흡수체로부터 재료 정수를 계산하여 입도에 따른 변화를 조사한 후 전파 흡수능을 측정하여 비교ㆍ분석하였다. 그 결과 평균 입도가 140 ㎛ 인 flake sendust 분말로 제작된 전파 흡수체가 와전류 손실의 감소(복소비 투자율 증가)와 입자간의 정전 용량의 증가(복소비 유전율 증가)에 기인하여 고주파 대역에서 우수한 전파 흡수능을 보임을 확인하였다. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of the EM wave absorber which was fabricated by using Flake Sendust (soft metal magnetic powder). The Flake Sendust was made of 3 different granularity by attrition mill. First, we have fabricated 3 kind of EM wave absorbers using the Flake Sendust and CPE(Chlorinated Polyethylene) and measured the S-parameters of the EM wave absorber. The complex relative permittivity and permeability were calculated from the measured data and the variations according to a change of granularity were researched. As a result, it was confirmed that the EM wave absorber using flake Sendust with the 140 ㎛ average granularity has outstanding absorption ability in high frequency range(C band) for the reduction of eddy current loss(increase of permeability) and the increase of space charge polarization(increase of permittivity).

      • 신한옥 설계 프로세스의 건축전문가시스템을 활용한 에너지 성능개선

        This paper aims at design refinements in building energy performance and building forms by examining the co-relationships between those building forms (S Variables) and energy performances (B Variables) based upon design prototype theory and FBS design model. Hence we perform BIM modeling for a Neo-Hanok design prototype followed by the analysis of building design performance using building environment analysis tool. We then perform the design refinement process modeling applying the expert system shell for the design knowledge and and try to make it explicit for the implicit design knowledge used in those design reasoning process. We then examine the relationships between the improved building performance indices and design decision variables to validate the mappings between S and B variables in Design Prototype theory. Lastly we illustrate the running of the CLIPS expert system shell.

      • 한옥의 에너지성능 분석에 따른 알고리즈믹 설계변형

        The main purpose of this paper is to suggest and validate a design process called FBS model of design process by Gero so that it proves to be working in a rather complicated tasks such as producing design variations based upon and in the feedback of building energy performance calculations. A neo-hanok design called ShiSeup-Dang (SSD) is chosen as the design prototype to be transformed and the structural design variables are described using a BIM tool called Revit Architecture. Starting from this prototype model, we convert this to energy performance analysis tools such as DIVA for Rhino and Ecotect so as to derive design Behavior variables in terms of solar access energy performance of the SSD. These derived design variables and values work as feedbacks for the design transformation using algorithmic modeling tools such as Grasshopper in Rhino3D. The result shows several cases of design transformations and variations in the sense that it improves the building energy performance through the design refinement methods adapted in this paper.

        윤증고택의 BIM 부재모델링과 꺾음부의 구축적 특성

        The Yoon Jeung residence is a well-known and prototypical aristocratic house example showing typical and interesting characteristics of the traditional houses in the middle region of Korea. When it comes to understanding the architectonic characteristics of a Korean traditional house, it was not easy to actually capture the compositional and/or constructional knowledge of the building even though it is a wooden building with many wooden members showing their compositional relations. Now with the help of the BIM tool, the Building Information Modeling tool, we could actually be able to compare and analyze each member and their compositional relations. In this paper we examine the unique traditional composition method used in extending the building’s structural sections utilizing the bended-joint characteristics of traditional buildings with exemplar case of the Yoon Jeung residence. Thereby we examine those relationships among three major compositional parts namely the plan based spatial compositions, the upper wooden compositions and the roof forms so as to specify the building’s typical characteristics with reasonably acceptable causes. The inner and outer block of the residence are handled with their bended-joints with more detailed knowledge of categorization by way of joint relationships among members.

        도시주거지역 거주성 및 거주성능의 평가 및 관리도구 RPMS의 구현과 활용제안

        People evaluate urban residential regions quite frequently and sensitively, considering issues such as locations or ease of use of in-site facilities or nearby urban facilities, and those results are bound to be reflected to real estate costs quite immediately. However, there have been frequently recurring questions regarding objectivity of evaluations in terms of results and methods reflected on indexes such as land costs for various reasons. RPMS -Residence Performance Management System- which targets currently in most cases on urban residential areas, suggests instrumental methodology of objective approach toward sensitive urban residence performance evaluation. This paper explains and suggests instrumental utilization of RPMS and its implementations, evaluation methodology and quantitative way of evaluation. In terms of implementation we explain issues such as adding target locations into new residence planning sites, quantification of properties on evaluation indexes of residential performance and/or habitability in terms of checklists, formulas for evaluation, delicate adjustment of evaluation results by setting weights on evaluation indexes, as well as reports on results. Research on appropriate weights and weight settings regarding evaluation indexes, however, exceeds the range of this paper so that this paper focuses on explaining residence performance evaluation and management methodology.
