        The great growth of wireless communication services require advanced microwave circuits. Especially high performance band pass filter which has a characteristics of low insertion loss and good selectivity in the passband is required. A Compact microstrip dual-mode bandpass filter with reduced meander loop resonator is presented here. To reduce size and weight is important parameter to be considered in design of planar microstrip circuit structure. A Microstrip resonator and bandpass filter structure are discussed and the simulation results for designed filter are presented. Designed filter size is reduced than a typical ring or square type filters.

        A microwave bandstop filter using modified square loop resonator is proposed and simulated with small size for wireless communication systems. Compared with traditional square loop resonator type, this modified square loop type takes advantage in size and characteristics. The modified square type has symmetrical and iteration scheme. So it is very easy to vary the characteristics of the filter. In this paper, a microstrip resonator type bandstop filter has been introduced as a miniaturized modified square loop resonator bandstop filter and presented the simulation results for the designed filter.

        Usefulness of recent versions of PSPICE, personal computer implementation of the SPICE, circuit simulation computer software rogram is demonsterated in simulation of the hysteresis loops magnetic materials. In order to model the hysteresis loop of a particular magnetic core's B-H characteristics, the values of five parameters, which affect the shape of the hysteresis loops, must be established. There is no efficient procedure for selecting the values of five parameters. Neither the PSPICE instruction munual nor any current books or papers address this problem. This paper presents a method for illustrating the effect that each parameter has on the shape of the hysteresis loop.

        A microwave bandpass filter using modified microstrip square loop resonator is designed and simulated with small size for variable microwave circuits and systems. Compared with typical square loop resonator type, this modified square loop type has advantage in size, cost and characteristics. The modified square loop type has symmetrical scheme. So it is very easy to vary size of meander and the changing characteristics of the filter is too easy. In this paper, a microstrip resonator meander type bandpass filter has been designed and simulated as a modified dual mode square loop resonator bandpass filter and presented the simulation results for the designed filter.

      • S 파라메타를 사용한 RF 증폭기의 SPICE 시뮬레이션

        The SPICE circuit analysis program has been widely accepted as a defacto industry standard for electronic circuit analysis, and it is used extensively at colleges and universities. The SPICE has limited math capability and, in general, can not be used for RF and microvave simulation because complex arithmetic is required to compute S-parameters from node voltage. This paper presents the conversion program that can interpret S2P files. This program is written in quick Basic. A very wideband singl-stage amplifier(2-19GHz) is used in simulation. The results of this example are compared with another high-frequency circuit analysis program, touchstone. The difference between the results of these two programs in magnitude was less than 0.001 and in phase was a few tenth of a degree. By using this amplifier to simulate a network analyzer, RF and microwave analysis can be made with SPICE, which can be cost effective and readily available computational tool for engineers.

        This paper propose one of the design for controller circuit of the parallel operating converter.In this case the most important point of the design is the performance of shared load current equivalently.Proposed control circuit can be approached to the equilibrium state quickly and simple with the ZCT method using only one CT using the master-slave method. As the approaching for practical use, I have done computer simulation and analysing the standard 4 type control circuit by varying the frequency of pole and zero, thus chose the scheme of control circuit which has excellent response characteristics, as a result showed the circuit component parameters.

        This paper presents the concept of software-controlled phase-locked loops. It is shown that software-controlled phase-locked loop can offer several advantages over pure hardware implementations. An example design is presented here. The example given here provides the design methodology for software-controlled phase-locked loops.

        Recently, the higher reliability of signal processing and transmission method is required in the data communication system, thus a lot of method for the modulation and demodulation of digital signal are developed. In this thesis FSK demodulated designed is using phase-locked loop. By using phase-locked loop the demodulated­output is a little delayed, but the reliable demodulation is enabled by the excellent tracking of PLL on the variable frequency of input digital signal. The capture range of the PLL in this experiment is shown good characteristics in the range of 1〔㎑〕(lower frequency) to 7〔㎑〕(upper frequency).

      • 마이크로웨이브 대역 필터 해석

        A microwave bandpass filter using dielectric resonators at X band is designed in this paper. The coupling coeficient k between two resonators is numerically evaluated in design process. The external quality factor Qe is also calculated with microstripline which is necessary for the field excitation of dielectric resonator. Data of k and Qe are evaluated by numerical analysis and filter responce are given Chebyshev approximation.

      • 프랙탈형 마이크로스트립 밴드패스필터 설계

        A fractal microstrip resonator type bandpass filter is designed and simulated with miniaturized size for wireless applications. The typical fractal design is based on the Koch prefractal geometry applied to the dual-mode microstrip ring type resonator. The square type modified ring has symmetrical and iteration scheme. Also self-similarity of the structure about it's iteration level enables it to produce the degenerate mode that is coupled using the proper perturbation technique. In this paper, a fractal microstrip resonator type bandpass filter has been introduced as a miniaturized dual-mode bandpass filter and presented the simulation results for the designed filter.
