Purpose: The purpose of this study was to propose a sensor fusion algorithm that integrates vehicle motion sensor(VMS) into the hybrid navigation system. Methods: How to evaluate the navigation performance was comparison test with the hybrid navigation system and the sensor fusion method. Results: The results of this study are as follows. It was found that the effects of the sensor fusion method and α value estimation were significant. Applying these greatly improves the navigation performance. Conclusion: For improving the reliability of navigation system, the sensor fusion method shows that the proposed method improves the navigation performance in a combat vehicle.

Purpose: This article provides a cause of breakage and a method for improving reliability of the headlight system installed in the main battle tank K2. Method: The natural frequency of the headlight system is estimated by using the finite element method. In addition, the allowable stress level under the severe conditions is provided through vibration test of a single item and a system level. Results: Based on the finite element analysis and the vibration test in the frequency domain, the lamp of the left headlight system fails by the resonance effect. Conclusion: For improving the reliability of the headlight system, the thickness of protector frame is increased to avoid the resonance effect.
회전 구동부의 신뢰성 개선을 위한 쿠션 성형 방법의 결정

Purpose: This article provides an efficient cushion molding method for improving reliability of the rotation driving system. Method: Allowable stress level for cushion is calculated by using physical characteristics of the rotation driving system. In addition, various test units are manufactured and used to conduct the rebound resilience, the burst pressure and the alternating load test. Results: Actual allowable stress level and test results of the rebound resilience, the burst pressure and the alternating load test are provided. Conclusion: The cushion manufactured by the compression molding method gives more preferable characteristics for improving the reliability of the rotation driving system.
