기술의 발전으로 인간의 삶은 풍요로워 졌으나 과도한 경쟁과 스트레스로 인해 정서적 평안함을 잃어가고 있다. 인류는 자연의 일부로 살며 보이지 않는 규율과 체계 안에서 아름다움과 평안함을 느끼고 발전해 왔다. 전통적으로 선조들은 자연을 통해 자아를 발견하며 습과 수많은 내적 발견을 했다. 이 연구는 바쁘고 억압받는 현대인들의 일상에서 인간 감성의 가장 기본요소인 쾌(快)와 불쾌(不快)중, 쾌(快)를 자극하는 공감각적 요소를 통한 인간 감성을 자극함을 목표로 한다. 실시간 사운드 시각화 기법을 이용해 시각과 청각의 감성을 자극하여 삶을 보다 풍요롭고 즐겁게 하는 것을 목표로 제작되었다. 사운드 시각화의 역사적 배경을 볼 때 과거 연구들이 주로 서구중심으로 이루어져 있어 서양의 악기를 시각화 하는 시도는 많았으나 우리나라 전통 악기에 초점을 맞춘 작품의 수는 매우 미미하다. 우리가 예술작품을 감상할 때 논리적인 것보다 개인의 감성적이고 문화적인 요소가 더 많이 작용하기 때문에 작품에서 이미지와 사운드를 연결하는 것은 개인적 요소가 더 많이 작용함을 인지한다. 그런 점에서 사운드와 이미지를 연결하는 절대적인 원칙은 없으나 한국인의 정서와 감성을 자극하는 요인으로 전통 산수화와 악기의 조화는 한국과 동양인의 감성을 자극하기에 부족함이 없다고 보여 진다. 이는 문화적 공감대를 가지고 있는 관람객의 정서도 반영한 것이다. 이 작품은 아이폰과 아이패드, 와이파이를 이용한 인터렉션 인스톨레이션으로 위치와 거리에 상관없이 관람객은 자유롭게 음악을 연주하고 본인이 연주하는 음악에 맞춰 실시간으로 반응하는 영상을 만들어 낸다. 이 연구는 한국 전통악기를 배운 적이 없는 일반인들도 쉽게 아이폰이나 아이패드의 인터페이스를 터치해 마치 연주자처럼 연주체험을 함과 동시에 음에 맞춰 실시간으로 생성되는 한 폭의 산수화를 만들어내는 오디오 비주얼 인터렉티브 설치 작품이다. 이는 실시간 인터렉티브 미디어 시스템으로서 vjing 이나 공연, 전시를 위한 미디어 인스톨레이션으로 이용 확장되어 사용될 수 있다. Many people today are losing their composure to chase material prosperity. Excessive competition is being caused by people being selfish and they are losing composure that way too. This study’s aim is to make people feel comfortable and enjoy playing Touch OSC like an instrument and seeing generated image by the sound that they play. In that sense, there is no implicit principle connecting sound and image. However, harmony of traditional instruments and arts are important elements stimulating Korean emotion and sensibility. That is enough to stimulate Korean and Asian. This is to reflect the feeling having a cultural bond of sympathy with the audiences as well. This work is an interactive installation which is used Wi-Fi and iPhone or iPad. The audiences can play the music regardless of location and distance and they can make real-time interactive motion graphic by their playing of music through the Touch OSC. This is a wireless real-time interactive system. This installation would be expanded with VJing, a performance and media exhibition. Development of digital media technology can enrich our lives. I hope digital media art gives more happiness and enjoyment in human life and it is stimulating peoples" emotion to a better living.

음악요법과 전화상담이 고위험 산모의 산후우울과 모성정체성에 미치는 효과

This study examine the effects of music therapy and phone counseling on postpartum depression and maternal identity in high risk women. Methods: A nonequivalent control group time series research design was employed. Eighteen women comprised the experimental group and seventeen women, the control group. Experimental group received 4 weeks of music therapy and phone counseling. Postpartum depression and maternal identity were measured prior to intervention and on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th weeks after its introduction. Results: The first hypothesis (i.e.,"the degree of postpartum depression would be lower in the experimental group than in the control group in a month``s time") was not supported (z=-0.47, p=.641). The second hypothesis (i.e.,"the degree of maternal identity would be lower in the experimental group than in the control group in a month") was not supported as well (z=1.08, p=.285). Conclusion: There is the need to monitor long-term effects of music therapy and phone counseling on high risk postpartum women, beyond 4 weeks observed in this study. Additionally, the development of music therapy tailored to high risk individuals and systematic phone counseling protocols for postpartum depression is required.
