본 연구에서는 태권도 미학의 올바른 해석과 태권도 수행을 통한 미적 체험의 본질 및 그 의미를 발견하고자 일반 미학 이론으로부터 미학의 정의, 미학 이론의 구조, 그리고 미적 경험에 대한 미학 이론의 해석을 시도하였다. 태권도 미학의 정의는 태권도 수련 시 미에 대한 인식이 수련하는 수련자의 자아와 그 대상(겨루기, 품새, 호신술, 격파, 시범)과 깊은 융합에 의해서 이루어지는 감성적 인식임에도 불구하고, 대부분의 수련자들은 틀 속에 박혀있는 하나의 정형화된 수동적 형태만을 고집한다. 태권도 미학이론의 구조는 태권도의 품새와 유사한 관계를 맺고 있다. 태권도 품새의 동작 하나 하나에서 느낄 수 있는 형의 의미(숭고미)와 아름다움(우아미) 그리고 오랜 수련을 통해 깨달은 움직임의 원리(비장미)는 위의 세 가지 구조를 잘 대변할 수 있다. 마지막으로 태권도의 미적 경험은 태권도 수련 시 보편성과 주관성이라는 두 합일적 융합의 관계 속에서 미적 체험의 궁극적 가치를 찾는 것이며, 이것이 바로 태권도 수련을 통해 우리가 얻을 수 있는 미학의 극치임과 더불어 올바른 형의 형태를 파악하는 과정 즉, 올바른 태권도 미학의 길에 도달하기 위한 수단이며, 나 자신의 발견이다. The purpose of this study was to find the correct interpretation of aesthetics, and the nature of aesthetic experience through Taekwondo performance and to discover the meaning of the definition of beauty from the general aesthetic theory, aesthetic theory, structure, and the aesthetic experience was an attempt to interpret the aesthetic theory. Though the definition of Taekwondo aesthetics was deep emotional recognition by the convergence of aesthetic beauty of practitioners to practice self-awareness and the target (Sparring, Poomsae, self-defense, strike the demonstration) in Taekwondo training, most of the practitioners stuck to the framework of a standardized and passive form. The structure of Taekwondo aesthetic theory is similar to Taekwondo Poomse. Taekwondo Poomsae behavior of a type that can be felt in a sense (sublime beauty) and beauty (elegant beauty) and realized through a long practice the principles of the movement (tragic beauty) can represent the three structures. Finally, Taekwondo aesthetic experience in fusion relationship of the universality and subjectivity in the Taekwondo practice will find the ultimate value of aesthetic experience, and this can get us peak performance of aesthetics through Taekwondo training and is the process of identifying the correct form and is a means of us to reach Taekwondo aesthetics road, and is the discovery of myself.
