In order to reduce the harmonics in inverter output of the DVR system, typically LC filter is employed. In designing the LC filter, it is required to consider the grid impedance and the characteristic of the harmonics. In this paper, problems in the conventional way of designing the LC filter is analyzed and new LC filter design technique is proposed. In the proposed technique, parameters of the LC filter are calculated considering grid impedance, THD, DC link voltage and phase lag. The validity and feasibility of the proposed method is verified through the simulations and experiments. The DVR system with the proposed LC filter is being built and tested.

Matching transformer in Dynamic Voltage Compensator is needed for grid connection and isolation. Flux saturation in transformer will be occurred by voltage of transformer from inverter and DC offset voltage and flux saturation makes over current in transformer. In this paper, mathematical modeling of matching transformer is proposed for flux saturation simulation of Dynamic Voltage Compensator.

EBOP(Electrical Balance of Plant)는 직류의 연료전지의 출력을 전력전자기술을 이용해 계통전원에 연계 가능한 교류로 변환해주는 일련의 시스템을 칭한다. 포스콘에서는 용융탄산염 연료 전지(Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell, MCFC)를 이용한 3MW 발전용 연료전지 EBOP 시스템을 개발하였으며, 국제규격(IEEE std.1547, UL1741)에 준하는 시험을 통해 성능검증을 완료함으로써 ㎿급 EBOP 시스템의 국산화에 성공하였다.

In grid-interconnection system, a fast, robust and precise phase angle detector is most important to grid synchronization and the active power control. The phase angle can be easily estimated by synchronous dq PLL system. On the other hand under unbalanced voltage condition, synchronous dq PLL system has problem that harmonics occur to phase angle or magnitude of grid voltage because of the effect of the negative sequence components. So, To eliminate the negative sequence components, the PLL method using APF (All Pass Filter) in a stationery reference frame to extract positive sequence components under unbalanced voltage condition is researched. In this paper, we propose a new PLL method with decoupling network using APF in a synchronous reference frame to extract the positive sequence components of the grid voltage under unbalanced grid. The cut-off frequency of APF in a synchronous reference frame can be set to twice of the fundamental frequency comparing with that of APF in a stationery reference frame which is the fundamental frequency. The proposed PLL strategy can detect the phase angle quickly and accurately under unbalanced gird voltages. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the proposed strategy under different kind of voltage dips.
연료전지를 이용하는 비도로용 자동차를 위한 전력변환시스템에 관한 연구

In this paper a power conditioning system suitable for the fuel cell powered off-road vehicle is proposed. The proposed system employs a Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell stack combined with boost converter, a super capacitor module combined with bi-directional buck-boost converter, a 4-quadrant DC chopper and a permanent magnet DC motor. The momentary overload condition occurring during the motor starting is handled by the energy stored in the supercapacitor module. Also, the regenerative energy can be stored in the supercapacitor module by operating the system in either buck or boost mode. This capability gives the system designer the higher flexibility in designing the system and assures the lower cost of the system. The validity and feasibility of the proposed system is proven by the computer simulation.
