Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine dance themes performed by the National Dance Company of Korea (NDCK). Research questions were (1) What is the main theme of the dance works performed by the NDCK from 1962 to 2015? (2) Do the dance themes vary with a specific period? (3) Do the dance themes of the NDCK change with NDCK directors? Method: Data were descriptions of the dance pamphlet collected from 1962 to 2015, which were uploaded on digital archive service offered from NDCK. Data analysis consisted of 4 steps: Step1, authors had transformed contents of pamphlets collected into the text file. Step2, authors conducted the morpheme analysis through a program written by Python. Step3, authors created the co-occurrence matrix and direction cosine matrix by KrKwic & KrTitle programs. Step4, authors analyzed centrality and visualization by UCINET & Pajek programs. Results: The results showed that keywords of dance themes were dance, human, human life, form, Korea, which appeared frequently from 1962 to 2015. Words with a high degree of centrality were human, works, human life. It means choreographic themes of the NDCK represented human life in association with historical fact. Also, the results of the study indicated that dance themes of NDCK varied with the historical period of dance. Also, the findings of this study showed that directors of the NDCK had some common themes in their choreography but these themes were performed differently using their symbolic material. Conclusion: In summary, NDCK works is to create works related to human life. When looking at dance works by time, various themes are performed, but there is no significant difference in the flow of dance themes. It seems that they are performed with similar themes. The theme of the NDCK is found to be different according to each leader through characteristic words.

청소년운동선수 보호 연구동향 분석

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze research and policy documents related to the protection of youth athletes using text mining analysis. Method: The study analyzed the abstracts on the protection of youth tahletes published in SCI/SSCI (N=1000) from 1996 to 2018. The data were analyzed using a topic modeling model with the LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) algorithm. Results: First, the study identified several factors that pose a risk of human rights violations among youth athletes include self-harm, medical mismanagement, sexual harassment and abuse, neglect, and doping. Second, the topics of protective measures for prevention and response mainly include policy, systems and cooperation. Conclusion: This study presents a framework for classifying the threats to youth athletes, including wellestablished research topics such as self-harm, medical negligence, sexual harassment and abuse, as well as emerging research topics such as neglect and doping, indicaintg that the scope of research related to the protection of youth athletes is constantly expanding. Moreover, the study reveals that research topics related to protective and preventive measures mainly focus on p olicy, systems and cooperation, which is consistent with previous research findings

학습자 수준에 따른 리듬체조 지도자 전문내용지식 비교

목적 코치지식은 스포츠에 대한 지식과 이 지식을 어떻게 적용하는지를 가리킨다. Côté, Salmela, Trudel, Baria & Russell(1995)는 코치들의 지식에 따라 선수들의 경기 훈련상황이 바뀔 수 있으며 내용지식은 가르치는 대상에 따라 수준에 따라 다르게 발현될 수 있다고 하였다(Iservyt et al., 2020). 이 연구의 목적은 리듬체조 지도자들의 전문내용지식을 조사하는 것이다. 구체적으로 선수들의 수준에 따라 어떠한 전문내용지식이 발현하는지 비교분석하였다. 방법 이 연구는 총 42명이 연구에 참여하였으며 지도자 14명 선수 28이 연구에 참여 하였다. 지도자들의 SCK 분석을 위해 오류지식과, 과제제시 지식관련 자료를 수집하였다. 분석은 Content development variables(Ward et., al, 2017) 그리고 SPSS 통계프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계를 실시하였다. 결과 연구결과 첫째, 선수 수준에 따라 지도자들의 오류수준은 차이가 나타났다. 초급선수들에 대한 오류가 더욱 정확하게 나타났다. 둘째 선수 수준에 따라 지도자들의 과제제시는 차이가 나타났다. 초급선수들에게는 확장형, 전달형 과제를 많이 제시하였으며 반면 고급선수들에게는 세련형, 게임형 과제제시를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 연구결과는 예비 지도자들의 전문지식을 신장하고 효과적인 코치프로그램을 개발하는데 도움을 주었으며 SCK를 개발하기 위한 스포츠분야에 적합한 전문내용지식 조사연구가 필요함을 시사한다. Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine the Rhythmic Gymnastics coaches’ Specialized content knowledge(SCK). Research questions were; (1) what are the differences in error detection of SCK depending on the level of players (2) what are the differences in instructional tasks of SCK depending on the level of players Methods Data were Total of 42 coaches and players participated in this study. The SCK data were collected using the (1) description of performance score (error detection) and (2) content map(instructional tasks)(Ward et al., 2017). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in relation to the research questions. Results The results of this study showed that (1) coaches indicated that there were big different high and low level player’ performance errors detection and performance score. (2) they presented different instructional tasks. low level player used the informing, extension, tasks and high level player used more refining, applying game tasks often. Conclusions These findings have helped foster the coaches of prospective leaders and develop effective coaching programs, suggesting the need for professional content knowledge research suitable for sports areas to develop SCK.

텍스트마이닝을 이용한 신체활동 연구의 주제 분석: 아동 및 청소년

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine research trends in the field of physical activity (PA) of children and adolescents using topic modeling. Research questions were (1) what were the major research topics of PA in Korean citation index (KCI) and social science citation index (SSCI)? (2) What were hot topics and cold topics in PA research? Method: PA and youth-related peer-reviewed research papers were collected to map out the research trends and topics using the Web of Science database. This study analyzed abstracts of the youth physical activity papers published in KCI (N=967) and SSCI (N=13956) from 2020 to 2017. The data were analyzed using the text-mining package, y-Textminer and the visualization tool, Gephi. Results: Results showed that PA and youth-related scientific papers are classified into five categories: (1) Health outcome studies, (2) Measurement, PA levels & trend studies, (3) Determinants or correlates of PA, (4) Interventions papers, and (5) Policy and practice studies. Conclusions: First, the main topic of children’s and adolescent-related Korean PA research was interventions, while foreign studies focused on determinants of PA and health outcomes. Second, hot topics in PA research were interventions (e.g., children’s activity program, the practice of physical education classes), obesity prevention, and health outcomes (e.g. obesity, after-school exercise, etc.) in Korea. On the other hand, research topics such as policy and practice (e.g., adolescent obesity prevention) and health outcomes (e.g., academic achievement, mental health) showed an upward trend in foreign studies. Third, the cold topic related to PA was the environment and context of physical activity. Research topics on ecological perspectives, children with disabilities, neighborhood parks, etc., were cold topics in Korea. On the other hand, topics on nutrition, childcare environment, and after-school programs were cold topics in foreign studies.
