In this paper, we discuss an image description method for image segmentation analysis. First of all, we briefly evaluate existing image description schemes with traditional concepts of image characteristics such as the entropy of image gray levels, the generalized moments, and the gray-level co-occurrence matrix. And then, based on the observations from the previous results, we proposed a new image features, so called Generalized Fourier Energy, which gives hierarchical information of image gray level variation of order n. Finally, we perform a set of experiments with some typical test images to verity the validity of our approaches. The experimental results show that our proposed image feature is very useful for classification of images which have different distribution in edges and in textures.

In this paper, we discussed the structure of block interleaver in IS-95 CDMA and proposed an efficient sequential interleaver based on a shift register. The conventional block interleaver has simple conceptual structure of alternatively write/read operation and good interleaving capability, but it sufferes from long delay time and discontinuous output data streaming when block buffers refresh. In new proposed scheme, a shift register with equi-spaced delay taps is used instead of conventional buffer memory. Experimental results show that new scheme has shorter delay time and continuous streaming while the same interleaving performance as the conventional scheme.

This paper presents IT secunty audtmg process model based on I S O 1 ~ framework First. we discussed several IT security auditing models including ISO/IEC 12207, SPICE, GMITS, BS5799. and SSE-CMM. And we studied for a typical IT system architecture, i.e., Web-based Information System And a process model of System Security Engineering - Capability Maturity Model (SSE-CMM). Then, we compared the ISO/IEC 12207 process framework and SSE-CMM processes Finally, we suggested an improved SSE-CMM process model based on the mapping table of IS0 122M In conclusion, some research topics that related to this paper are presented for further study.
