본 연구의 목적은 초등학생들이 성인이 되어 자신의 삶을 성공적으로 주도해나갈 수 있는 생활인으로 성장하는데 필요한 역량을 구체적으로 진단할 수 있는 초등학생용 생활역량 진단척도를 개발하는데 있다. 이를 위해 `생활역량모델`에 근거하여 5, 6학년을 대상으로 예비검사와 본검사를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구 과정에서 개발된 초등학생 생활역량 진단검사는 자기조절역량, 자기개발역량, 학습역량, 대인관계역량, 민주시민역량, 문제상황대처역량의 6개 하위 생활역량과 이를 구체적으로 함양할 수 있는 16개 생활기술, 각 기술별 5문항인 총 80문항으로 구성되었다. 전문가에 의한 내용타당도 검증과 요인부하량 및 상관관계 분석을 통해 구인타당도를 검증하였고, 경로모형의 표준화계수 산출 및 적합도 검증을 통해 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다. 6개 하위 생활역량의 신뢰도는 0.83∼0.91로 나타났으며, 전체 검사도구의 신뢰도는 0.97로 나타났다. 진단검사는 생애발달적 차원에서 민주시민으로 성장하는데 필요한 역량이나 기술을 어려서부터 함양시킬 수 있는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to develop the Life Competency Test for elementary school students, which can be used for growing as an individual who can lead successfully his/her own life. For this, items were developed from literature review and Life Competency Model. 226 students for pretest and 584 students of 5th and 6th grade were participated for this study. Through test development processes, the Life Competency Test with 6 sub-life competencies, 16 life skills and 80 items was developed. 6 sub-life competencies are as follows: self regulation, self development, learning, interpersonal relationship, democratic citizenship, and coping with problematic situations. The coefficients of Cronbach α and construct validity were high, and suitability indexes of item factor structure were high. Students can get informations about their life competencies easily through this test, furthermore, teachers or parents can provide educational programs to enhance student`s deficient competencies or life skills. Also, the collected data from Life Competency Tests can be used as basic data to develop programs and to make policies in elementary schools or fields of youth.

소아에서의 Nd : YAG Laser를 이용한 치은착색제거술 YAG Laser in children

Melanin is normally found in the skin of all people, and normal pigmentation of the intraoral tissues is a relative frequent finding. Gingival hyperpigmentation may cause esthetic problems and embarrassment, especially in patients with a gummy smile. Melanin pigmentation is related to etiologic factor such as hormon, systemic factor, drug, smoking and gingival inflamation. Depigmentation procedure can be Performed by gingival epithelium removing procedure, gingivectomy, free gingival graft, laser therapy, dry ice, Vitamin C and phenol-alcohol method. We could obtain favorable esthetic results by procedures such as Nd: YAG laser. The Nd:YAG laser was set at 4 watt, 50mJ, 80 pulse per second. The procedures were performed with contact mode in all pigmented areas by using a handpiece with a 320㎛ diameter fiber optic. Ablation of the gingival hyperpigmented gingiva appeared healthy, pink, and firm. No recurrence of hyperpigmentation had been found in 6 months of follow-up.
