시트룰린혈증 2형은 SLC25A13 유전자 변이에 의한 시트린 결핍증으로 생기는 상염색체 열성 유전질환으로 고암모니아혈증, 시트룰린혈증, 저혈당증, 갈락토즈혈증 등의 생화학적 이상소견이 동반 되는 질환이다. 임상적으로 영아형인 '시트린 결핍증에 의한 신생아 간내 담즙정체(NICCD)', 소아형인 '시트린 결핍에 의한 성장 부진과 이상지방혈증(FTTDCD)', 성인형인 '성인기 발병 시트룰린혈증 2형(CTLN2)'의 세 가지 형태로 나타난다. 그 중 NICCD는 영아기 발생 간내 담즙 정체, 간 기능 장애, 저단백혈증, 저혈당증, 성장부진, 지방간 등의 증상이 나타나고 임상증상, 생화학적 검사이상을 통해 질환을 의심한 후 SLC25A13 유전자 분석 검사를 통해 확진 할 수 있다. 저자들은 생후 35일에 시트룰린혈증으로 방문한 영아에서 NICCD와 부합되는 생화학적 검사 소견과 SLC25A13 유전자 염기서열 분석 검사상 c.[1817G>A]과 [?] (p.[W606*];[?])이형접합변이로 NICCD를 진단하였기에 보고하는 바이다. Citrin deficiency (OMIN #605814) is an autosomal recessive disorder caused by the SLC25A13 gene mutation with abnormal biochemical findings, including increased serum ammonia, citrulline, arginine, galactose, serum threonine-to-serine ratio, serum pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor, and alpha-fetoprotein. Citrin deficiency can manifest in three ways: in newborns as neonatal intrahepatic cholestasis caused by citrin deficiency (NICCD), in older children as failure to thrive and dyslipidemia caused by citrin deficiency (FTTDCD), and in adults as citrullinemia type 2 (CTLN2) with recurrent hyperammonemia and neuropsychiatric symptoms. We report a 35-day-old asymptomatic patient with citrin deficiency who had abnormal biochemical findings.

Machine vision inspection systems have replaced human inspectors in defect inspection fields for several decades. However, the inspection results of machine vision are often affected by small changes of illumination. When small changes of illumination appear in image histograms, the influence of illumination can be decreased by transformation of the histogram. In this paper, we propose an enhanced histogram matching algorithm which corrects distorted histograms by variations of illumination. We use the resolution resizing method for an optimal matching of input and reference histograms and reduction of quantization errors from the digitizing process. The proposed algorithm aims not only for improvement of the accuracy of defect detection, but also robustness against variations of illumination in machine vision inspection. The experimental results show that the proposed method maintains uniform inspection error rates under dramatic illumination changes whereas the conventional inspection method reveals inconsistent inspection results in the same illumination conditions.

초고층 건물에서 아웃리거를 이용한 횡력저항시스템이 자주 사용되고 있다. 아웃리거가 외부 기둥과 내부 코어를 연결함으로써 외부 기둥이 횡력저항시스템에 참여할 수 있어 구조적 저항능력이 향상될 수 있다. 그러나 아웃리거는 횡력 뿐만 아니라 중력하중의 조절에도 기여할 수 있다. 하중을 메가 기둥으로 전이시키거나 기둥, 벽체, 파일 등의 연직 부재들 간에 중력하중을 균등하게 분포시키며, 기초 시스템에서의 부등침하를 최소화하기 위하여 중력하중의 흐름이 아웃리거 부재에 의하여 변경될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 100층 이상의 초고층 사례들에 대한 전산구조해석을 통하여 중력하중 조절에 대한 아웃리거의 효과를 분석한다. 아웃리거 유무에 따른 3차원 모델의 구조해석이 수행되며, 기둥과 파일에서의 중력하중 분포 및 기초 침하가 분석된다. 또한, 완공 단계 뿐만 아니라 시공 단계에서의 중력하중 조절에 대한 아웃리거의 효과도 분석된다. In high-rise buildings, an outrigger system is frequently used as a resisting system for lateral loads. Since the outriggers tie exterior columns and an interior core, exterior columns can participate in the lateral load resisting system and the structural resistance capacity can be increased. However, the outriggers contribute for controlling gravity loads as well as lateral loads. The flows of gravity loads can be changed by the members of outriggers, for the purposes of transferring loads to mega-columns, distributing gravity loads equally among vertical members of columns, walls, or piles, minimizing differential settlements in a foundation system, and so on. In this study, by computational structural analyses of high-rise buildings over 100 floors, the effects of outriggers on controlling gravity loads are analyzed. Analyses for 3-dimensional models with or without outrigger members are performed, and then the gravity load distributions in columns and piles and foundation settlements are analyzed. Also, the effects of outriggers on gravity load controls during construction stages as well as after construction are included.
현장계측을 통한 RC 벽식아파트의 시공 중 하중 및 거동변화 분석

According to structural type of a building, construction load can be different because construction method and collateral condition corresponding to each structural type is different. Generally, construction load of design code is based on the research result on construction of flat plate building structures. Therefore, this design code for construction load may be inappropriate for construction of wall type building structures. In this paper, through field instrumentation on a wall type building structure, construction load was investigated and the behavior under construction was analyzed. According to the result of field instrumentation, construction load of the wall type building structure was lower than specified load by design code. However, unexpected additional load because of temperature changes and storage of steel bars occurred and it can be larger than specified construction load by design code. Therefore, this unexpected additional load should be considered reasonably to assure safety of construction and restrict cracks on the slab under construction.
자동차 안전을 위한 히스토그램 이용 졸음 감지 시스템 개발

In this paper, we propose a technique of drowsiness detection using a histogram for vehicle safety. The drowsiness of vehicle drivers is often the main cause of many vehicle accidents. Therefore, the checking of eye images in order to detect the drowsiness status of a driver is very important for preventing accidents. In our suggested method, we analyse the changes of a histogram of eye region images which are acquired using a CCD camera. We develop a drowsiness detection system using this histogram change information. The experimental results show that the proposed method enhances the accuracy of detecting drowsiness to nearly 97%, and can be used to prevent accidents due to driver drowsiness.
철근콘크리트 특수전단벽의 변위기초설계를 위한 항복변형성능 평가

The current seismic design code uses a displacement-based design scheme for structural designs of special RC shear wall. But the displacement-based design in the current seismic design code does not consider contributions of yield deformation. In this study, the evaluation method of displacement capacity for RC shear walls was analyzed and applied to the parametric study for the lateral deformations of RC shear walls. Based on results of parametric analyses with various design conditions, the contribution of yield deformation to the deformation capacity of RC shear wall was analyzed. It was presented that, for RC shear walls in tall buildings, the yield deformation increased as the building height increased and reached more than 50% of total deformation. Therefore, for the reasonable design of special RC shear wall in tall buildings, the yield deformation should be included in the displacement-based design process.
