We here report our preliminary observation that a ribosomal protein EL24 of E. coli participates in the formation of yeast 5.8S rRNA/26S rRNA complex in vitro, and that it is bound to the complex. From this finding we should infer that there exists in yeast ribosome a conserved homolog of EL24, playing a role in the initiation of self-assembly of the ribosome.

This is a case report and review of literature that deal with a surgical correction of mandibular deficiency. Patient, 38 years old male, had visited to treat mandibular deficiency. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examination, he was diagnosed as a micrognathia. Surgical method. 1. Intraoral Bilateral sagittal split osteotomy 2. Augmentation of genioplasty - double step. Patient was satisfied with final esthetics by gnathosurgery.

우리는 Escherichia coli의 리보솜 단백질 EL24가 시험관에서의 효모의 5.8S rRNA/26S rRNA 복합체 형성에 관여하며, 그 복합체와 결함되어 있다는 것을 예비적으로 관찰하였기에 보고하고자 한다. 이러한 관찰에서 우리는 효모 세포에는 리보솜의 자기조립을 개시하는 EL24의 상동단백질이 보존되어 있을 것으로 추정된다. 우리는 효모(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)의 5.8S rRNA/26S rRNA 복합체의 5.8S rRNA 부분의 이차구조를 결정하였다. 이차구조 모형은 5.8S rRNA를 핵산 가수분해효소 S1과 리보핵산 가수분해효소 V1으로 절단한 결과를 분석하여 추정하였다. 5.8S rRNA의 4번에서 32번까지의 누클레오티드들로 이루어지는 5' 말단의 연속부분과 139번에서 155번까지의 누클레오티드들로 이루어지는 3'말단의 연속부분은 26S rRNA의 영역 I과 부분적으로 상호작용하여 네 개의 나선형 줄기를 형성한다. 나머지 연속부분(34번에서 137번까지) 내의 상보적 분절들의 상호작용으로 다섯 개의 나선형 줄기와 다섯 개의 고리를 형성한다. 고등학생의 분노가 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향력: 자아존중감의 조절효과를 중심으로

본 연구는 고등학생의 분노가 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고 이 관계를 자아존중감이 어떻게 조절하는지를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 대전광역시와 충청남도에 거주하는 고등학생 627명을 대상으로 설문조사한 내용을 분석하였다. 연구방법으로서 자료의 처리는 SPSS 19.0 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 기술통계, 상관 분석, 요인분석, Cronbach``s α계수를 산출하였으며, 변인들 간의 인과관계에 대한 영향력을 알아보기 위해서 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고, 조절효과를 검증하기 위해서 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과는 첫째, 고등학생들의 분노는 우울과 불안에 대한 정적인 관계의 영향력을 설명하고 있었고, 자아존중감은 부적으로 우울과 불안에 대한 영향력을 설명하고 있었다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 분노가 우울 및 불안에 미치는 영향력에서 조절효과를 나타내고 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 고등학생들의 분노가 우울과 불안에 미치는 부적응적인 요인이 밝혀짐과 동시에 이를 예방할 수 있는 자아존중감의 조절효과를 밝혀내어서 고등학생의 성공적인 학업성취와 더불어 심리ㆍ사회적으로 적응적인 삶의 환경을 개선하는 실증적 자료를 제공하는데 있다. This purpose of this study is to the influence of anger on depression and anxiety in high school students and analyzed how to moderate effects of self-esteem. Data gained from a survey for 627 high school students residing in Daejeon Metropolitan City or South Chungcheong Province were used for the analysis. The data were processed by using the SPSS 19.0 for descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and factor analysis as well as to calculate Cronbach`s alpha, multiple regression analysis was performed to identify the effects on the causal links among variables while a linear regression analysis was performed to validate the moderating effects. The results of this study are as follows: First, for high school students, anger has a positive correlation with depression and anxiety while self-esteem has a negative correlation with depression and anxiety. Second, self-esteem has the ability to moderate the effect of anger on depression and anxiety. This study is to provide an empirical basis that can help high school students achieve successful academic results and be provided with an environment, to which they can socially and psychologically adjust by identifying the maladjusted factors causing anger to affect depression and anxiety and looking for moderating factors that can prevent such correlations.

대학생의 사회불안, 내현적 자기애, 부정적 정서와 우울의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과 검증

본 연구는 대학생의 사회불안과 내현적 자기애, 부정적 정서와 우울의 관계에서 내면화된 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 경로모형으로는 대학생의 우울에 영향력을 미치는 변수로서 사회불안, 부정적 정서, 내현적 자기애를 독립변수로 하고 내면화된 수치심을 매개변수로 설정하였다. 본 연구의 방법으로는 우리나라의 중부권에 재학하고 있는 대학생 1~4학년 396명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과의 내용을 사용하였다. 자료의 처리는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 요인분석, Cronbach`s α계수를 산출하였으며, AMOS 4.0 프로그램으로는 경로분석을 위한 가설검증 및 모형의 적합도 지수, 경로계수, 경로효과를 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 우리나라 대학생의 우울에 영향을 미치는 변수는 사회불안, 내현적 자기애, 부정적 정서이며, 간접적인 영향력으로는 내면화된 수치심이 매개 변수로 관련되어 있음이 확인되었다. 따라서 대학생의 우울에 사회불안과 내현적 자기애 및 부정적 정서가 직접적인 영향력을 미치고, 내면화된 수치심을 통해서 간접적인 영향력을 미친다는 결론을 얻었다. 본 연구는 이전의 선행연구들에서 다루어왔던 중·고등학생들을 대상으로 한 연구에서 더욱 발전하여 예기사회화 과정에서 미래사회로 진수하려는 사회적 생산자로서의 대상이 되는 대학생들로 확대를 시도하였으며, 심리적인 요인뿐만 아니라 사회적인 요인으로서의 사회불안을 적용시킨 내면화된 수치심을 통하여 우울을 약화사킬 수 있는 심리·사회적인 실증자료를 탐색하고자 하였다. This purpose of study was to investigate the mediating effects of internalized shame in the relationships among students social anxiety, negative emotion, covert narcissism and depression. As the method to process the data of this study, I used the result of having conducted the questionnaire survey targeting 396 male and female students of between freshman and senior attending university in Jungbu area. Data were analyzed with the SPSS win 18.0 descriptive statistics software. The exploratory factor analysis was carried out with Cronbach`s alpha, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis was used to conduct the cleansing work with the most appropriate measurement variable. The goodness of fit was evaluated through AMOS 4.0 software using confirmatory factor analysis, parameter estimation value, coefficient of determination, covariance matrix to confirm the effects of the path analysis, and predetermined variables on casual relationship. In path analysis, students social anxiety, negative emotion, covert narcissism, have direct or indirect influences on depression. And internalized shame has indirect influences on it. These results have a statistical worth.

Organizational effectiveness has been the focus of increasing interest among social scientists as well as organization managers, government officials, and other interested parties. Nevertheless, the theoretical and empirical literatures on the subject are not well developed. There are no well-specified models, and the empirical literature shows little cumulative character. The purpose of this study was to examine the basic concepts and structure of organizational effectiveness criteria from the perspective of Beer’s cybernetic model in which the law of requisite variety is set forth as the basic principle of an adaptive mechanism of organizational systems.
