Recently, the problem of the anti-noise in the internal combustion engine is thought much of and studied in various ways. In order to study the ant-noise in the internal combustion engine, first of all, it is necessary for us to consider Counter-measure against it after we have a full acguaintance of the noise we should alter the ways and degree in the muffler, accordi ng to the establishing place, its usage and surroundings of the engine. The muffler is generally used to suck and exhaust the noise in tile internal combustion engine. There are a lot of studies on the muffler, but they are only the plans of the theory and experiments. In studying the muffler, it is necessary to describe the characteristics of the suction and exhausting noise which is the original sound, but I gave a brief description about it, and mainly studied on the elementary theory and practice of the muffler in this paper.
액체로켓엔진 동특성 파악을 위한 압력 펄스발생기의 수치 해석적 연구

본 논문에서는 액체로켓엔진과 공급계의 전달함수를 실험적으로 구하기 위해 사용되는 압력 펄스 발생기를 소개하였다. 캠 방식의 압력 펄스발생기에 대한 주파수 영역에서의 수학적 모델을 제시하였다. 수학적 모델을 이용한 해석 결과와 상용 해석코드를 이용한 시간 영역 해석 결과가 잘 일치함을 보임으로써 주파수 영역 수학적 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다. 또한 압력 펄스발생기 시스템 해석을 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 펄스발생기 입구의 오리피스 직경 변경이 압력 펄스의 진폭을 제어할 수 있음을 보였다. In this paper, a pressure pulsator, which is used for the experimental acquirement of the transfer function of a liquid rocket engine and feed system, has been introduced. The mathematical model of a cam-type pressure pulsator in the frequency domain is proposed. The numerical simulation results using the mathematical model show good agreement with the simulation results using a commercial code in the time domain. Also, the simulation of the pulsator system shows that the change of orifice diameter in front of the pulsator can control the pressure amplitude effectively.
