The expectation and hope for the New Millenium appears in the contemporary fashion too. The angle of view, which have focussed on the functionalism and rationalism, is now turning its direction toward the new model. The new model is not the simple revival of the past but the recreation, that is the new conceptional handicraft.<BR> The purpose of this treatise is the re-illumination and the research of Braiding hair style, which has been handed down to us, closely connected with human life since the dawn of history.<BR> The following is the conclusion of my research. First, braiding ,worked by hand without special instrument, can be easily applied to the moulding expression of free line and free face of hair design. And it gives the feeling of relief. So it means that we can present a creative and individual image breaking from uniformity caused by the development of mechanic civilization by introducing handcraft technique to hair design.<BR> Second, braiding can express the hair style cubically because it makes the three-dimensional makeup possible on the real hair.<BR> Third, today"s trend is the mixed use of two more techniques and various materials, and it expresses more effectively. In the same way, braiding technique present more various image using mixed with many materials (for example, a partial wig, a ribbon, strings etc.)<BR> As we can see above conclusion, braiding hair style have the merit that an artist can express one"s creative personality.<BR> Although braiding hair technique is settled in our daily life, the practical use is limited to three unit braiding. So, through this research I expect that various kinds of braiding technique extend its territory that have a new value in the hair style of contemporary fashion.

Listening comprehension has received growing attention in the field of second language acquisition as one of the primary sources of language input. Currently, listening is considered as one of the major components in second language learning and teaching. Likewise, our attention to listening comprehension in Korea has also been growing steadily since the mid-90s. Reflecting changes in the views and attention, a number of textbooks for learning and teaching listening comprehension have been published. The present study explores the factors that affect the learning and teaching of listening comprehension and suggests guidelines for selecting listening textbooks.
교실 외 활동을 활용한 대학 교양영어 회화프로그램의 학습자 만족도 연구

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a university English conversation program which had employed on-line homework and outside-class interviews with native English instructors. After over 1,200 sophomores took the conversation course for a semester, questionnaires were administered to measure the students' satisfaction for the program and their perceived usefulness and effectiveness of the in- and outside-class activities. The results showed: first, students perceived the in-class lessons and outside-class interviews with the native English instructors as useful, but not the on-line conversation practice; secondly, the students' perceived usefulness, affective effects, and content evaluation of each activity were shown to have significant effects on their perceived effectiveness of the outside-class activities. Lastly, significant differences were not found by the different groups of proficiency level in their perceptions of the usefulness, affective effects, and content evaluation of the outside-class activities. However, different proficient groups showed different amount of study efforts and preference for activities.
사회인지이론을 활용한 그룹기반의 초등영어도서관 프로그램의 개발과 독서행동에 미치는 영향요인 조사

The purpose of the study was two-fold: to investigate the effects of a group-based book reading plus self-efficacy and outcome expectancy intervention on reading amount, perceived reading ability, reading behavior, and social cognitions and to examine influencing factors of book reading behaviors. Sixty-three sixth graders completed a ten-week book reading intervention in two experimental conditions: one with book-reading activities only and the other with a book-reading plus social cognition intervention. The control group (n=32) studied English in their regular English classes. Questionnaires were administered three times to assess the participants' social cognition, reading behavior, and perceptions of reading English books: right before and right after the intervention, and at eight weeks post intervention. The results showed positive effects of the intervention on reading amount, perceived reading ability, and reading behavior. Of the two experimental groups, the group that had received the book-reading plus social cognition intervention showed more positive results. At eight weeks post intervention, intervention effects on goal efficacy, reading behavior, and attitude toward reading were maintained. Social cognition was found to affect reading amount and behavior for the experimental groups. Research and practical implications are suggested.
영화 CD-ROM이 영어 학습에 미치는 효과에 대한 연구

Research has shown that using multimedia teaching materials such as movie videos and CD-ROMs in foreign language classrooms has been effective. The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effects of using a movie CD-ROM in English classrooms as a way of improving English language skills and enhancing students’ positive perception of learning English. Sixty 10th-grade students in a commercial high school participated in the study which lasted 10 weeks. One group used the movie Big, while the other group used the conventional method of listening to a tape that accompanied a textbook. The data, which were analyzed statistically using the SPSS, showed the following results: 1) Even though the experimental group’s level of interest and confidence increased by using the movie CD-ROM, the increase was not statistically significant. The same can be said for the control group. 2) The experimental group showed a statistically significant improvement in vocabulary building, while the control group did not. 3) Neither group showed significant improvement in terms of listening ability.
시니어 공동주택의 선택 속성이 이용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 브랜드 신뢰와 기업 이미지의 매개효과를 중심으로 -

본 연구의 목적은 혼자서 노령의 생활을 영위하고 있는 고령의 1인 가구의 삶을 개선하기 위한 목적으로 대두되고 있는 노인용 공동주택에 대하여 알아보고 노인들이 공동생활공간을 선택하는 데에 어떠한 이용 요구 특성이 있는지는 확인하여 빠른 공동생활 공간의 보급의 방향을 찾아 가파르게 진행되고 있는 고령화에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 본 연구는 선행연구를 토대로 연구모형과 가설을 검증하기 위하여 수도권과 광역도시를 중심으로 시니어 공동주택에 관심이 있는 중년층 이상의 남녀 402명이 설문에 참여 하였고 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0의 통계패키지를 통하여 분석하였으며, 자료의 신뢰성과 타당성을 검증하였고, 그 결과에 따라 상관관계 분석 및 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 실증분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인 공동생활 공간의 선택에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로는 안전과 깔끔한 환경으로 나타났으며, 취미활동이나 프로그램 운영 등에 대한 영향력은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 매개변수인 브랜드 신뢰는 의료서비스에서 부분적으로 채택되었고 기업이미지는 의료서비스와 공동체 공간에서 부분적으로 채택되었다. 조절변수인 심리적 거리감에서는 입지와 이용의도 생활편의 지원 서비스와 이용의도 간에 조절역할을 하는 것이 확인되었다. 따라서 노인 공동생활공간을 선택하는데에 있어 가장 핵심적인 지점은 안전과 쾌적한 환경, 의료서비스의 신뢰 확보를 위한 브랜드 및 기업이미지가 요구되었고, 심리적 거리가 가까워질수록 다양한 서비스에 대한 욕구가 발생한다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.
