이수정의 신앙고백문: 유교적 배경과 요한복음 14-15장

Although there are few domestic data on Lee Soo-jeong's life, it can be seen from the circumstances in which he was active in Japan that Lee Soo-jeong was a person with considerable knowledge as a Confucian scholar. Therefore, Lee Soo-jeong looked at Christianity based on Confucianism's "Cheoninmugan" and furthermore, "Cheonamugan," and confessed Jesus' teachings to the truth through Chapters 14-15 of John. The idea of Cheoninmugan is also located in the emotions of Koreans today. What can be considered first through Lee Soo-jeong's Confessionl Essay is that Christianity can be meaningful to people of other religions or ideas. Of course, God, spoken by the Confucian heavenly thought and Bible, is a completely different being. The Confucian sky appears to be a transcendent being, such as the laws of the universe or the logic of nature, sometimes as the ancient Sangje, but it is difficult to find the appearance of Christian God like the creator. However, it can be seen that it is in a structurally similar context. Through Lee Soo-jeong's Confessionl Essay, it can be confirmed that the message of the Bible is not completely different from other religions or ideas. Rather, it is very important in many ways to find meanings corresponding to Christianity in our history and religion. Therefore, it can be shown that Christianity is not an exclusive religion, but can encompass the teachings of all religions and ideas. Furthermore, Christianity today will be able to move forward as a religion of life that can give good influence to non-Christians while essentially retaining the gospel of "cross and resurrection." 이수정의 삶에 대한 국내의 자료들은 거의 없지만 일본에서 활동한 상황들을 통해서 이수정이 상당한 유학자로서의 소양을 가진 사람이었음을 알 수 있다. 그러므로 이수정은 유교의 ‘천인무간’ 그리고 더 나아가 ‘천아무간’ 사상을 바탕으로 기독교를 바라보았고, 요한복음 14-15장을 통해서 예수님의 가르침을 진리로 고백하게 되었다. 이러한 ‘천인무간’ 사상은 오늘날 한국인들의 정서에도 자리잡고 있다. 이수정의 신앙고백문을 통해서 먼저 생각해 볼 수 있는 것은 기독교가 다른 종교나 사상을 가진 사람들에게도 의미있게 다가갈 수 있다는 것이다. 물론 유교의 천(天) 사상과 성경이 말하는 하나님은 엄연히 다른 존재이다.
A Review on the Photochemical Oxidant Modeling as Applied to Air Quality Studies in Complex Terrain

The high oxidants, which occur the daily maximum concentrations in the afternoon, are transported into the other region via long range transport mechanisms or trapped within the shallow mixing boundary layer and then removed physically (deposition, transport by mountain wind, etc.) and chemically (reaction with local sources). Therefore, modeling formation of photochemical oxidants requires a complex description of both chemical and meteorological processes. In this study, as a part of air quality studies, we reviewed various aspects of photochemical modeling on the basis of currently available literature. The result of the review shows that the model is based on a set of coupled continuity equations describing advection, diffusion, transport, deposition, chemistry, emission. Also photochemical oxidant models require a large amount of input data concerned with all aspects of the ozone life cycle. First, emission inventories of hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxides, with appropriate spatial and temporal resolution. Second, chemical and photochemical data allowing the quantitative description of the formation of ozone and other photochemically-generated secondary pollutants. Third, dry deposition mechanisms particularly for ozone, PAN and hydrogen peroxide to account for their removal by absorption on the ground, crops, natural vegetation, man-made and water surfaces. Finally, meteorological data describing the transport of primary pollutants away from their sources and of secondary pollutants towards the sensitive receptors where environmental damage may occur. In order to improve our present study, shortcomings and limitation of existing models are pointed out and verification process through observation is emphasized.

Lectins belong to the pattern-recognition receptors (PRRs) class and play important roles in the recognition and elimination of pathogens via the innate immune system. Recently, it was reported that lily-type lectin-1 is involved when a pathogen attacks in the early immune response of fish. However, this study is limited to information that the lectin is involved in the innate immune response against viral infection. In the present study, the lily-type lectin-2 and -3 of Oplegnathus fasciatus (OfLTL-2 and 3) have been presented to be included B-lectin domain and two D-mannose binding sites in the amino acid sequence that an important feature for the fundamental structure. To investigate the functional properties of OfLTLs, the tissue distribution in the healthy rock bream and temporal expression during early developmental stage analysis are performed using quantitative real-time PCR. OfLTL-2 and 3 are predominantly expressed in the liver and skin, but rarely expressed in other organ. Also, the transcripts of OfLTLs are not expressed during the early developmental stage but its transcripts are increased after immune-related organs which are fully formed. In the challenge experiment with RBIV (rock bream iridovirus), the expression of OfLTLs was increased much more strongly in the late response than the early, unlike previously known. These results suggest that OfLTLs are specifically expressed in the immune-related tissues when those organs are fully formed and it can be inferred that the more intensively involved in the second half to the virus infection.
