국내 다문화 연구와 다문화 상담 연구의 현황 = Multi-cultural Studies and Multi-cultural Counseling Studies in South Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is for exploring the situation of multi-cultural studies and multi-cultural counseling studies in Korea. This study dealt with the researches about multi-cultural families through international marriage, immigrants from north Korea, immigrant workers, and foreign students as research subjects. This study also included Korean attitude and behaviors toward multi-cultural population. By looking into the DB of RISS, National Assembly Library, and The National Library of Korea, the researchers found out multi-cultural studies among academic journals, theses for degrees, and the books. The final subjects of research is 2990 studies. The subjects, time, and theme were analyzed of these studies. The results were as follows: The number of multi-cultural studies in Korea was rapidly increasing. The studies for immigrants from north Korea and immigrant workers were more frequent in cumulative percentage. But after 2006, the most frequent researches were for the multi-cultural through international marriage. The researches on the actual condition were most frequent over the time. By generation, the studies for parent generation appeared most frequently while the studies for their children were rapidly increasing. The multi-cultural counseling researches were rarely performed.
