이영희 컬렉션에 나타난 한국적 이미지 색채 특성에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국복식 색채, 한국적 이미지를 추구해온 패션디자이너 이영희의 컬렉션에 나타난 최근 색채경향, 동 시즌의 각 트렌드 정보기획사에서 제시한 패션 트렌드 색채와 비교분석함으로서 유의미한 상관관계를 도출하여 한국적 이미지 색채의 특성을 규명하고자 하는데 있다. 연구의 방법과 절차는 다음과 같다. 실증적 연구로서 웹사이트에서 추출된 한국복식 232색채, 최근 3년간 여섯 시즌의 이영희 컬렉션 364색채, 삼성디자인넷 257색채, 인터패션플래닝 240색채 총 1,093색채를 분석대상으로 하였다. 색채분석은 표준화된 색채전달 도구인 NCS표색계(Natural Color System)를 사용하여 시즌별, 계열별 색채사용빈도를 분석하였다. 사진 자료를 포토샾(Photoshop)프로그램에서 아이드로퍼(eyedropper)툴로 Lab(L*a*b*)색을 추출하여, 엑셀 프로그램을 활용하여 Lab(L*a*b*)값에서 NCS색채 값으로 변환하였다. 변환된 NCS 색채 값을 N(Neutral)계열, Y(Yellow)계열, R(Red)계열, B(Blue)계열, G(Green)계열의 계열별 색채 사용 빈도를 분석하고 색채 특성을 비교분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국복식의 색채 활용 빈도는 R, Y, B ,N ,G계열 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이영희 컬렉션의 색채 활용 빈도는 R, B, Y, N, G계열 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 트렌드 정보기획사의 색채 활용 빈도는 R, B, Y, G, N계열 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 전체적으로는 R계열과 B, Y계열의 활용 빈도순으로 나타났고, G계열의 색채 활용은 차이를 보여 이영희 컬렉션에는 한국적 색채 활용 특성과 트렌드 색채 활용 특성 간의 유의미한 상관관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 컬렉션을 구성하는 다양한 요인들을 총체적으로 파악하여 분석하지 못하고, 제한된 범위 내에서 색채분석만을 토대로 하였다는데 제한점을 둔다. 후속연구에서는 한국적 이미지를 표현한 컬렉션들 중 디자이너별 분석, 동 시즌의 해외 컬렉션의 디자이너들과 한국 디자이너의 색채 특성을 비교 분석하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to examine characteristics of Korean image color by drawing meaningful correlation, comparing and analyzing recent color trend shown in the Lee Young Hee`s collection, who has sought colors of Korean clothes and Korean images, and fashion trend colors presented by each information agency in the same seasons. The followings are method and procedure of the study. The analyzing subjects are 1,093 colors in total, which are 232 colors in Korean clothes sampled in the web sites as a practical study, 364 colors in the Lee Young Hee`s collections during six seasons in the recent three years, 257 colors in SamsungDesign Net, and 240 colors in INTERFASHION PLANNING. In case of the analysis of colors, the frequency of color use by each season and series by using Natural Color System, which is standardized color vehicle, is analyzed. Photo materials converts Lab( L*a*b*) value to NCS color value by making use of Excel program, drawing Lab( L*a*b*) colors by eyedropper in the photoshop program. Through converted NCS color value, the frequency of color use in each N(Neutral) series, Y (Yellow) series, R(Red) series, B(Blue) series and G(Green) series are analyzed and color characteristic is compared and analyzed. The result of the study is summarized as follows. First, the frequency of color use in Korean Clothes is shown in the order of R, Y, B, N, G series. Second, the frequency of color use in the Lee Young Hee`s collections is shown in the order of R, Y, B, N, G series. Third, the frequency of color use of trend information agency is shown in the order of R, B, Y, G, N series. Fourth, on the whole, the frequency of use is shown in the order of R series , B series, Y series and the color use of G series is shown difference. Therefore, it appears that there is a meaningful correlation between the characteristic of the Korean color use and that of trend color use in the Lee Young Hee`s collection. This study sets a limitation in that various factors which consist of the collections are not understood and analyzed by and large, so the analysis of colors within in the limited range is based on. In the follow-up study, the analysis by designers in the collections expressing the Korean images is to be analyzed and the characteristic of color in each designer in the foreign collections and Korean designers in the same season is to be compared and analyzed.
