중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육전공 교과과정 운영체제에 대한 만족도 조사

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육 전공생을 대상으로 교육대학원 음악교육 교과과정 운영체제에 대한 만족도조사를 통해 교과과정 운영체제에 대한 문제점을 파악하여 중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육전공이 나아가야 할 미래의 발전 방향을 제시하는 것이었다.
본 연구는 총 48명의 재학생 중 연구자를 제외한 47명(N=47)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구모형은 질적연구방식이 주가 되며, 양적연구방식이 부로 이루어진 혼합설계로 설문지법과 면접법을 사용하였다. 설문지법은 총 31문항으로 구성된 검사도구와 서술형 질문으로 이루어졌으며, 면접법은 4차와 5차 재학생 6명을 대상으로 2012년 5월 14일, 5월 15일, 5월 17일에 3번에 걸쳐 면접법을 실시하였다.
그 결과 중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육 전공생들이 가장 만족하는 점은 학교의 명성, 학교의 도서관이 제공하는 서비스와 환경, 교수의 가르침 순서인 것으로 나타났다. 가장 만족하지 못하는 점은 장학금, 학교교실 환경, 각 수업의 학급 인원 수, 행정서비스의 질의 순서인 것으로 나타났다.
3번의 면접법에서 공통적으로 나타난 개선되어야 할 점으로는 교수의 전문성, 전임교수의 부재, 과목 선택권의 문제, 서양음악전공생과 국악전공생의 통합수업으로 인한 문제점, 논문지도 문제, 학습시설 부족, 행정적 시스템의 문제, 임용고시와의 연계성 부족으로 나타났다.
이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육전공의 발전을 위하여 ① 음악교육전공 전임교수 배정 ② 음악교과교육학 과목에 있어서 1차와 2차 재학생, 3차 이상 재학생을 대상으로 하는 같은 과목 2개 분반 수업 실시 ③ 서양음악전공생은 국악과목 의무 수강, 국악전공생은 서양음악과목 의무 수강 ④ 음악교과내용학 과목 현행 2과목에서 3과목 개설로 선택권 확대 ⑤ 음악교과내용학 과목에 있어서 전문성 있는 교수 배정, 특히 국악 전공과목에 대한 전문성 있는 교수 배정 ⑥ 4차, 5차 때 논문 작성을 위한 연구방법론 수업 개설 ⑦ 가논문 심사 실시 ⑧ 실기과목의 경우 원활한 수업 진행을 위한 학습 기자재 지원의 해결책을 제시하는 바이다.
본 연구 결과와 제시된 해결책을 기초로 하여 발전되는 중앙대학교 교육대학원 음악교육전공이 되기를 기대해 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to research the level of satisfaction on the curriculum and the system of music education in Chungang graduate school and to suggest the right solutions to improve the issues by the graduate students' opinions who are majoring in music education.
This research was conducted with 47 students(N=47) and questionnaire methods and interview method were used for qualitative research. The questionnaires consisted of 31 questions and short-answered questions were also given to the respondents. Interview method was carried with 6 students in 4th and 5th semester in May 14th to 17th, 2012.
The result of this study can be summarized as follows:
First, students who are majoring in music education in Chungang graduate school satisfied the most in school reputation, services by library and lessons professors provide in order.
Second, the least gratifying issues were scholarship, poor classroom environment, the number of students in each class and the quality of the service of administration.
Finally, the common issues that students point out as they should be improved were the professionalism of professors, lack of full-time professors, options students have when choosing courses and the problems by course combination between different majors such as that of western music and traditional Korean music. Not only that, lack of the facility for studying, the problem by school administration, and the low relation between the curriculum and National teacher certificate examination.
Conclusion from abridged results are as follows.
To improve the quality of the education that graduate students provided, school should provide students with ⅰ)allocation of full-time professors ⅱ) separation of the same classes so that students can choose the courses based on the semester ⅲ) mandatory classes for different majors such as western music majors and Korean traditional music majors. Also, ⅳ) extended options for choosing courses ⅴ) recruitment of professors for Korean traditional music class ⅵ) introduction of pre-examination system for a thesis ⅶ) providing enough facilities for practice were suggested as well.
This research result shows that the perception music education majors have. Through this research, many respondents points out problomatic issues and their solutions which will lead the music education of Chungang graduate school to more improvement.
