소규모 SW프로젝트에서 범위기술서와 WBS관련 프로젝트 성공지표에 관한 연구 = Research on performance index of project success between project scope statement and WBS under small SW project

국문 초록 (Abstract)

프로젝트 관리에 있어 범위관리는 프로젝트 성공에 있어 중요한 부분이다. 특히 범위기술서(Project Scope Statement)와 WBS(Work Breakdown Structure)는 요구사항, 비용, 일정, 품질 등 프로젝트 전반에 걸쳐서 영향을 주는 산출물로써 이들을 명확하게 관리하는 것은 중요한 사안이다.
본 논문에서는 프로젝트 범위기술서와 WBS를 기반으로 프로젝트 성과를 측정할 수 있는 지표를 문헌을 통해 도출하였고, 지표를 기반으로 요구사항을 중심으로 소규모 SW프로젝트의 범위관리 현황을 분석하였다.
연구 결과로 소규모 SW프로젝트에서는 범위기술서의 요구사항이 WBS에서 누락되는 경우가 발생하고 있었고, 변경관리 수준이 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 요구사항의 반 정도는 프로젝트 수행 중에 변경이 일어났으며, 요구사항을 추적할 수 있는 문서의 정보제공 수준이 낮은 것으로 나왔다. 반면에 범위기술서의 요구사항이 산출물(Deliverable)로 수용되는 수준은 아주 높은 것으로 나왔다.
소규모 SW프로젝트에서 범위기술서와 WBS의 요구사항에 대한 일치성과 완전성을 확보하고, 전체 프로젝트 관리 수행에 있어 문서단계별 추적성을 제공할 수 있도록 코드화하여 관리하고, 변경관리에 대한 노력이 필요한 것으로 연구되었다. 또한 의사소통에만 집중되어 있는 부분을 문서화하여 관리할 필요가 있는 것으로 연구되었다.
본 연구의 성과로는 소규모 SW프로젝트 관리의 현황을 성과지표 측정과 분석을 통해 프로젝트 성과를 향상시켜 프로젝트 성공에 기여하고, 측정 결과를 토대로 소규모 SW프로젝트의 특징에 대해 고찰함에 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Scope Management of PM(Project Management) is an important part in the project success. In particular, PSS(Project Scope Statement) and WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) is important to clarify the management because it affect deliverables like requirements, cost, schedule, quality throughout project.
In this paper, between project scope statement and WBS for measuring project performance Indicators found in the literature. And Indicators mainly based on the requirements of a small SW project analyzed the current status of the project scope management.
Result of this paper, requirements of the project scope statement was missing from WBS, and change management level was not high. In addition, about half of the requirements change during execution of the project took place. To keep track of the requirements at the project document shows that a low level of information. On the other hand, the requirements of project scope statement deliverables is acceptable to be a very high level.
The principal goal of this paper is to contribute to the project success through Performance indicators, measurement and analysis. And based on the results of measuring the characteristics of small-scale projects suggests by analogy.
