아동기 피아노 교육의 효율적인 지도법에 관한 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 우리나라 음악교육의 대명사화 되어 있으며 가장 보편화된 피아노 교수법에 관해 알아보고 재평가하여 올바른 피아노 교육으로의 방향을 모색해 보는데 의의가 있다.
음악은 아동의 지능과 감성 발달에 영향을 미치기 때문에 음악적 능력을 개발하고 발전시키는데 있어 중요하기에 아동기에 음악교육을 받는 것이 좋다. 그러나 현재 우리나라의 피아노 교육은 단순한 손가락기능을 연마시키는 낡은 학습방법에 머물러 있거나 학원의 영리추구만을 위한 잘못된 교수방법으로 음악교육의 순기능, 아동의 발달단계 및 음악적 배경은 간과되어진 채 교육되고 있는 실정이다.
진정한 피아노 교육이란 단순한 기능 위주의 교수법에서 벗어나서 각 아동들 간의 개인차를 이해하고 파악하여 아동의 성격, 개성, 음악적 능력에 맞는 교육을 의미 한다. 또한 아동의 음악에 대한 흥미를 지속적으로 유지시켜, 아동들의 음악적 욕구를 충족시키고 표현력을 높여주어 음악을 통해 생의 아름다움과 즐거움을 느끼도록 도와주는 것이다.
바람직하고 효율적인 피아노 교육을 위해서는 창의력을 저해하는 단순 반복, 손가락의 기계적 반복 연습은 지양하고 포괄적인 음악교육을 통해 창의력 개발의 기초를 마련하며 생활 속에서 음악적 환경을 조성하여주어 자연스럽게 음악적 안목을 가질 수 있게 하는 것도 중요하다.
아동기에 받은 음악교육은 일생 동안 지속되기 때문에 그 중요성은 매우 크며 이러한 음악교육을 행하는 교사의 자질 또한 매우 중요하다. 교사는 우선적으로 아동을 사랑하고 아이들에게 음악을 선물한다는 마음으로 늘 인내심을 가지고 헌신과 사랑으로 아이들을 지도해야 한다. 학생들이 올바른 음악적 능력을 기를 수 있도록 교사는 전반적인 음악지식을 갖추고 있어야 하며 각 학생에 맞는 다양한 교수법을 끊임없이 연구하고 개발하여 아이들이 음악을 즐기고 사랑할 수 있도록 도와야 할 의무가 있다.

In this thesis, I've studied a right way of piano education which has become a synonym for Korean music education by researching and revaluating methods.
It is the most important period to improve the musical ability in children because music has a grate effect on sensibility and a intellectual development of the child. However there are some problems piano education in korea because teachers in piano academies teach only finger skill by using an obsolete method to seek their profit. So the correct function of music, during child's developmental stage and musical background is overlooked when children learn the piano.
In teaching piano, teachers have to understand a difference of children and consider their personality and musical ability. Moreover teachers should make an effort for children to be interested in piano. They should help children feel a beauty and pleasure of the life by satisfying their musical wants and improving their musical expressiveness.
For the effective and proper piano education, a routine practice which disturbs a development of creativity must be avoided. On the other hand, through music education, we provide children with basic development of creativity. Also it is important for children naturally to get an appreciative eye for music in a daily life by having a musical environment.
Music Teachers must be qualified because the effect of the musical education for a child lasts their entire life. First of all, teachers should love their children and they should want to help them because they are teaching them the beauty of music. They should also be patient and teach their children with love and a dedication to improve their musical ability. Teachers must have high musical knowledges and have to study a lot of teaching methods so that they could improve their teaching methods.
