전통 민요교육 연구 동향 분석 : 2000년~2019년을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

민요는 우리 민족을 대표하는 음악으로 문화적 정체성을 함양하는데 매우 중요한 교육수단이다. 이러한 민요를 학습자에게 효과적으로 교육시키기 위해 어떠한 연구들이 이루어졌는지 알아보고 선행 연구들을 통해 연구방법과 틀을 마련하여 발행연도별, 학교별(소속별), 연구대상별, 활용요소별, 연구방법별로 연구동향을 분석해 보고자 하였다. 도출된 결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 발행연도별 석사학위 논문 분석내용을 보면 2005년을 기점으로 상향되었고 2013년에 가장 많은 연구가 이루어졌으며 2019년 약간의 상승이 있었으나 전체적인 흐름으로 볼 때 점점 하향 추세의 결과를 보였다. 학술논문의 경우 연도별로 크게 변화를 보이지는 않았고 2014년에 5편이후 2019년까지 하향 추세의 결과를 보였다.
둘째, 학교별(소속별) 분석내용을 보면 수도권 대학에서 많은 연구를 하였고 한국국악교육연구학회·한국국악교육학회·한국민요학회 등이 민요교육관련 연구에 관심을 가졌고, 그 중 중앙대학교 국악교육대학원에서 28편, 경희대학교 교육대학원 19편, 한양대학교 교육대학원 8편을 연구 한 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 연구대상별 분석내용을 보면 학위논문은 중등-초등고-고등 순으로 중등을 중심으로 연구가 많이 되었음을 확인할 수 있었고, 학술논문은 초등고-중등-전체 순으로 초등고가 많이 연구됨을 확인할 수 있었다.
넷째, 활용요소별 분석내용은 교과서 음악에 수록된 제제곡을 그대로 사용하여 어떠한 것도 소재로 삼지 않았지만, 다양한 시도를 통해 민요와 졸탄코다이 교수법, 시김새 등 국악가창기법, 가야금, 토리등을 활용하여 여러 지도 방안을 제시하였다.
다섯째, 전통민요교육과 관련한 연구방법별 분석내용은 학위 논문의 경우 조사 6편, 개발 176편으로 여러 제제곡의 지도안 개발이 많았으며, 학술 논문의 경우 조사 15편, 개발 16편, 문헌연구 1편으로 조사와 개발이 비슷한 추이로 나타났다.
본 연구의 민요교육 연구 동향을 분석한 결과 연도별에서는 민요교육 연구가 점증적으로 축소되고 있으며 대부분 수도권에 위치한 대학들에서 전통민요 교육연구가 집중되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 향후 지방소재 대학들도 전통민요 교육에 관심을 두어야 하겠고, 민요 교육자들이 다양한 대상과 교육 소재를 통하여 학습자들에게 예술적 가치가 있는 우리의 전통민요를 보다 쉽게 접할 수 있고 교육적 동기부여와 관심, 그리고 흥미를 느낄 수 있도록 지도하는데 관심을 두어야 하겠다. 본 연구를 통해 기대할 수 있는 효과는 민요교육자들이 학습지도 계획을 세우고 효과적인 민요교육을 진행하는데 있어 기초자료들로 활용되어지는 것이라 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Folk songs are music representing our nation and are a very important educational tool to cultivate cultural identity. I investigated what kind of research was conducted to effectively educate learners about this folk song. and By preparing research methods and frameworks through previous studies, we tried to analyze research trends by publication year, school (by division), research subject, application factors, and research methods. The derived results are as follows.
First, looking at the analysis of master's thesis by publication year, It has increased since 2005, with the most research done in 2013, with a slight increase in 2019. but In terms of the overall flow, the result was gradually downward trend. In the case of academic papers, there was no significant change by year. After 5 reserches in 2014, there was a downward trend until 2019.
Second, looking at the analysis of each school (by division), many studies were conducted at universities in the metropolitan area. and The Korean Traditional Music Education Research Association, the Korean Traditional Music Education Association, and the Korean Folk Song Association were interested in research related to folk song education. Among them, 28 studies were conducted at the Graduate School of Traditional Music at Chung-Ang University, 19 at the Graduate School of Education at Kyunghee University, and 8 at the Graduate School of Education at Hanyang University.
Third, if you look at the analysis contents of each research subject, it can be confirmed that the thesis has been studied mainly in secondary school in the order of secondary school-elementary school-high school. The academic papers were studied in elementary-secondary-all order. It could be confirmed that a lot of research was conducted for elementary schools.
fourth, according to Analyzing the utilization factor of the music textbook, although the songs were used as they were, through various attempts, Various teaching methods were proposed using folk songs, Zoltankodai teaching methods, traditional Korean singing techniques such as sigimsae, gayageum, and tori.
Fifth, if you look at the analysis content by research method, for thesis, 6 research articles and 176 developments articles, there was a lot of development of instructional plans for various songs. In the case of academic papers, there were 15 surveys, 16 developments, and 1 literature research showing similar trends in survey and development.
Analysis result of research trend of traditional folk song education, As a result of yearly analysis, folk song education research is gradually decreasing as the years go by. Regionally, a lot of research has been conducted on traditional folk song education at universities located in the metropolitan area. In the future, local universities should also pay attention to traditional folk song education. Folk song educators should pay attention to education so that learners can more easily access traditional folk songs of artistic value through a variety of educational materials and feel motivated, interested, and fun. It is hoped that this study will become a basic material for folk song educators to establish a learning guidance plan and to conduct effective folk song education.
