대학도서관 여성학장서 연구 : 부산대학교 도서관과 부산여자대학교 도서관을 중심으로 = (A) study on the women's studies collection of the university library : the cases of Pusan national university library and Pusan women's university library

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study's purpose is aimed to escape from the underdeveloped Korea university library collection. In order to achieve well-developed collection, We must consider that University Library's Collection is the basis to support the whole university process and Collection development policy is designed to be unified this research and studying course. The case choose for research is Women's Studies Collection of Pusan National University Library and Pusan Women's University Library.
The findings resulted in investigation of Women's collection problem is as followed :
1. There is a lack of Knowledge about women's collection development. at between library staff and user. - This is a big trouble to develop women's collection.
2. Insufficient collection and low quality
3. So many Anti-Women's studies materials
To get rid of the cause that make the poor and alienated state of the women's studies collection, The Collection development policy in this study is designed as follows :
1. The librarian should develop the women's studies collection to be collected comprehensively
2. To remove the anti-women's studies materials, so that raise the level of the women's studies collection
3. The women's studies collection should support diverse subjects of women's studies, not just a few subject areas.
4. The collection development librarian should acquire various selection tools, and offer them to the faculty in time.
5. To collect all kind of materials that agency of Korea Women's development produce.
