격파위주 태권도시범단 교육에 대한 지도자들의 인식

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 격파중심의 시범단 교육이 주를 이룸으로서 시범단이 갖추어야 할 요소들이 점차 희미해져가고 있는 현 상황에 대해 질적 연구방법을 통하여 시범의 본질을 탐색하는 데에 목적이 있었다.
본 연구의 방법으로는 심층면담을 이용하였고 인터뷰를 실시하는 동시에 녹음을 진행하였으며 인터뷰를 마친 후에는 모든 내용을 전사하였다. 연구 참여자로는 서울 및 경기도에 위치한 4년제 대학의 태권도 격파대회에 출전하는 청소년 태권도시범단을 지도중인 남, 여 지도자 6명을 대상으로 선정하였고 태권도 시범과 격파대회의 본질, 격파위주 교육의 이유, 시범단의 발전과 격파대회의 문제점에 대하여 심층면담을 통해 시범의 본질 이해와 시범과 격파대회의 발전방향을 나타냈으며, 본 연구에 결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 태권도 시범과 격파대회는 서로 다른 본질을 띄고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 태권도 시범은 태권도의 본연의 멋과 정신적인 기풍을 선보이는 것, 격파대회는 많은 선수들을 모집하고 홍보하여 대회 주최 측의 위상과 좋은 선수를 선출하기 위함으로 나타났다.
둘째, 시범과 격파대회는 각각 단체성과 개인성의 차이를 나타났다. 시범은 시범단원들 간의 호흡과 동작의 통일성, 격파대회는 개인출전이라는 부담감의 차이를 나타났다.
셋째, 청소년들의 입시로 인해 시범단의 교육이 격파위주로 치우친다고 나타났고, 시범의 본질을 잃어가고 있다고 나타났다. 또한 격파위주 교육으로 인한 부족한 시범요소 습득으로 시범의 이해도가 점점 낮아진다고 나타났다.
넷째, 시범의 발전과 격파대회로 인한 시범의 성장이 나타났으며, 시범기술의 개발, 기술의 명칭에 대한 객관적인 지표 부재, 높은 난도에 비례하는 부상, 시범의 전통성 상실에 대한 대처방안이 나타났다.
본 연구는 면담을 통해 격파위주 태권도시범단 교육에 대한 지도자들의 인식을 수집하여 시범의 본질을 해석하고자 하는데 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 향후 태권도 시범과 격파대회에 출전하는 선수들에게 더 나은 시범의 질과 대회운영을 위한 현장적용에 기반이 되는 기초자료를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이며, 태권도 시범의 발전에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to analyze in-depth the opinions of leaders on the current situation, which is board breaking oriented demonstration team education and to explore the nature of the demonstration through case study methods.
This research showed the learders of the demonstraion team participating in the competition of the university president related to the youth entrance examination through interviews with the leaders of the demonstration team on the nature of the Taekwondo demonstration and the breaking competition, the difference between the demonstration and the breaking competition, the reason for the board breaking-oriented education, the development of the demonstration team and the problems of the breaking competition.
The conclusions of this research are as follows.
First, taekwondo demonstrations and breaking competitions were found to have different qualities, while taekwondo demonstrations showed the original style and spirit of taekwondo, and the breaking competitions were designed to recruit many athletes to select the status and good players of the event's organizers.
Second, demonstrations and breaking competitions showed differences in group and individuality, respectively. In the demonstration, there was a difference in the uniformity of breathing and movement among the members of the demonstration, and the burden of individual participation in the breaking competitions
Third, it has been shown that the education of the demonstration team is biased toward breaking board due to the entrance examination of teenagers, and that the nature of the demonstration is being lost. The teenagers demonstration team members have a lower understanding of the demonstration by being aware of the insufficient demonstration factors caused by the board breaking-oriented education.
Fourth, the development of demonstration and the growth of demonstration due to the breaking competition were shown, and the development of demonstration technology, the absence of the name of new technology, the injury proportional to the high difficulty, and the countermeasures against the loss of tradition of demonstration were shown.
This resaerch is meaningful in that it attempts to interpret the nature of the demonstration by collecting leaders' perceptions of the education of the breaking-oriented Taekwondo Demonstration through interviews.
This study is expected to provide basic data based on better quality of demonstration and field application for competition operation to athletes participating in taekwondo demonstrations and breaking competitions in the future, and contribute to the development of taekwondo demonstrations.
