국내 음악대학의 음악산업 교육과정의 필요성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 연구자가 4년제 음악대학의 작곡전공 교육과정을 통해 체
감하였던 실태에 대하여 말하고자 객관적인 자료확보를 통한 연구결과를
제시함과 동시에 이를 위한 해결과 발전에 관한 방향성을 제시하기 위해
DAW에 대한 소개와 그에 관한 전문성을 갖추는 과정을 통해서 얻을 수
있는 강점, 그리고 그 역량을 갖춘 이가 현 시대에서 음악가로써 살아갈
때의 이점을 기술하였다.
먼저 서론을 통해 연구의 필요성과 목적을 말한 후 이를 위한 연구 방법과 그 범위를 제시하고 또 이에 대한 선행연구도 조사하여 목차에 맞 게 그 내용을 인용하였다. 우선적으로 조사한 음악 대학교의 작곡 커리큘 럼 현황에 대해서 국내, 미국, 독일을 조사하며 대학교 선정은 음악 내에 서도 세부적으로 분류하여 교회음악 중심의 커리큘럼,4년재 음악대학의 평균적인 커리큘럼, 실용적 교육에 대한 비중을 높인 커리큘럼 등 총 3개 의 관점을 갖고 조사하였다. 추가적으로 지리적 측면에서 대한민국과 마 찬가지로 극동아시아에 속하는 일본에서 대표격으로 말할 수 있는 음악대 학의 교과과정까지 조사하여 총 4개의 국가에서 17개의 음악대학을 조사 하여 비교 분석하였다.
다음으로 음악 산업현장에서 필수적으로 요구하는 인재들의 역량에 대하여 조사하기 위해 현장에서 활동하는 사람들과의 인터뷰를 진행하였 다. 음악 산업현장은 총 영상음악,Pop 음악, 음향 등 3가지로 카테고리화하여 진행하였고 또한 음악 산업현장에서 활발하게 활동하는 음악가 중 국내 음악대학을 졸업한 사람들을 만나 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 마지막으로 현재 음악대학의 교육과정을 통해 공부하고 있는 음악대학의 학부생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다.
조사한 17개 음악대학의 커리큘럼과 음악 산업현장에서 진행한 인터 뷰, 교육 현장에서의 학생대상 설문조사를 최종적으로 종합하고 비교분석 하여 이 모든 내용이 DAW에 대한 역량강화 필요성을 포함하여 말하고 있음을 연구하였다. 결론적으로 DAW 역량강화를 통해 기대할 수 있는 많은 이점들에 대해서 나열하여 최종적으로 연구과정과 결과가 사회적 요 구에 부응하는 음악대학 작곡전공 교육과정 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있도록 기대한다.

Abstract
The Necessity of the Music Industry Curriculum
at Music Universities in Korea
- A Study on the Curriculum Improvement Plan -

This paper presents the research results by securing objective data to talk about the situation the researcher experienced through the four-year music Umiversities composition major curriculum and for describing the positive effects from having the DAW expertise, introduce DAW and relate the benefits of living in this age.
First, the necessity and purpose of research are mentioned through the introduction, and then the research method and scope for this are established. In addition, previous research data related to these were also investigated and the contents were cited according to the table of contents. for the composition curriculum of music universities, Korea, the United States, and Germany were investigated, and the university selection was classified into three perspectives: church music-oriented curriculum, average curriculum of four-year music universities, and practical education. In addition, in terms of geography, the curriculum of music universities in Japan, a country in Far East Asia like Korea, was investigated. So 17 music universities were surveyed and compared and analyzed in a total of 4 countries.
After that, this paper shows interviews with people working in the field were conducted to investigate the competencies of talent essential in the music industry field. The music industry site was categorized into three categories: total video music, pop music, and sound, and interviews were conducted with musicians who graduated from music universities among active musicians in the music industry site. And for the Final, a survey was conducted on undergraduates of the College of Music who are currently studying through the curriculum of the College of Music.
By synthesizing and analyzing the curriculums of 17 music universities, interviews conducted at music industry sites, and survey results for students at education sites, all of these contents were studied including the need to acquire professional skills for DAW. In conclusion, we recognize many advantages that can be expected through acquiring professional skills for DAW and hope that research courses and results will have a positive effect on improving the composition major curriculum of the College of Music to meet social needs.
