    The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of mathematics thinking-notebook writing Activity and Mathematics Attitudes of mathematics underachieved students.
    The performances of three students were under 60% on the distinction exam. Before thinking-notebook writing procedures, the subjects' characteristics, learning styles and mathematical attitudes were investigated through mathematical attitude test. After 20th thinking-notebook writing Activity, follow-up survey and mathematical attitude test were conducted.
    In conclusion, the mathematics thinking-notebook writing Activity helps the underachievers to improve their mathematics achievement and a positive influence on active and effective learning attitude. The effect will have a further positive influence in improving the student' achievement levels and mathematical thinking faculties.
