인천지역 IT 및 지능형 로봇산업의 활성화전략에 관한 연구 = A Study on Promotion Strategies for IT and Intelligent Robot Industry in Incheon Metropolitan City

국문 초록 (Abstract)

1990년대 이후 IT산업은 전 산업의생산체계혁신및산업의 고부가가치화, 수출확대 등 국가경제와 지역산업에 막대한 파급효과를 자져올 수 있는 분야로 다양한 육성정책을 제시하고 있지만, 현재의 상황으로는 지역 IT업체의 적극적인 참여가 매우 어려울 것으로 예측되고 있다.
본 연구는 인천지역 IT산업의 새로운 도약을 위해서 신산업을 중심으로한 성장동인을 최대한 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 전략적 선택과 집중적 육성대책이 필요하다고 판단되어, 인천지역 산업구조에 맞는 특화분야를 선정하고, 특화분야 중 지능형로봇 활성화를 위해 설문조사를 하였다.
본 연구결과는 현재 제조기반 성격이 강한 인천지역 기업들은 고부가가치 산업인 지능형로봇분야로 주력업종을 전환할 의향이 높았으며, 그 이유는 향후 높은 인프라 구축과 정부 또는 지자체의 지원조건이 강화될 것이라는 기대에 그 이유를 들었다. 이를 위해 인천지역에 로봇산업을 전문적으로 육성할 집적시설 및 전담기관이 필요하고, 인천 지역특성에 맞는 로봇 산업의 육성 및 발전을 위한 연구개발을 추진하며, 연구개발 결과를 적극적으로 민간기업에 기술 이전하여 로봇산업을 선도하도록 하는 로봇연구 개발사업 등 지자체 주도 로봇관련 사업을 추진하는 것이 필요하다. 또한, 고급 로봇인재 양성은 로봇산업 발전의 출발점이며, 이를 위해 앞으로 인천에서는 관내 대학에 로봇 전문학과를 보다 많이 개설하고 현재 계획 중인 로봇대학원 등을 설치하여 석·박사 등 고급 로봇인력을 양성하여 인천지역 로봇산업 활성화에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Since 1990s, IT industry has been expected as upbringing areas with huge ripple effect on national economy and local industry via the innovation of production system, the high value added production system, and the expansion of export of the entire industry. However, with current circumstance, it is expected that the local IT companies hardly participated in those activities.
This research conducted the field survey on promoting strategies about IT and intelligent robot industry in Incheon. For this purpose, a few areas, the intelligent robots, have been selected as the specialized field fitting with the industrial structure in Incheon Area. nd studied the reinvigoration of among specialized fields.
The result of this research shows that most manufacturing companies in Incheon should turn their main product into this intelligent robots with the high value added. Also there are needed and dedicated institutions with the aggregate facilities in order to promote the research and development of the robots industry.
In addition, the result of this research indicates that the private companies should lead the robots industry. Also it is essential to take the initiatives by local governments to promote the research and development of the robot-related projects.
Furthermore, it is the first step of the robots industry to cultivate the talent persons. For this end, Incheon local government should open the robots specialized departments in local universities to train more experts. This will contribute the reinvigoration of robots industry in Incheon area.
