The purpose of this study was to examine the history and environment of the Taehwa River, to analyze the current state of the commentary service, and to present suggestions for improvement of the description service through the recognition analysis of the users and commentators. In order to improve the description service of the Taehwa River garden, the analysis was conducted for 264 users of the commentary service and 18 environmental commentators, and the recognition of the difference between the user age group and the natural environment commentator was meaningful.
The survey showed that teenagers had the largest number of duplicate visits, and that the types of accompanying students varied from friends to family to schools. However, the other age groups had the most visitors in the first inning and the largest number of visits focused on social gatherings. Many visitors visit the Taehwa River garden nationwide, but if you look at visitors from other cities except local residents, you will find that the number of visitors to Busan, South Gyeongsang Province, and Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province are far too many. According to the age range by location, the largest number of people in their 50s or older from all except teenagers living in Ulsan visited the Taehwa River garden. More respondents said they did not collect information in advance for teens to 40s, while more people in their 50s and 60s said they collected information in advance. The higher the age group, the more information it collects and visits Taehwa Grand Park. Only those in their 60s or older had the highest promotional materials, while the rest of the age group had the most information using the Internet. While there were many responses about the Taehwa River garden, which was provided by Internet or promotional materials, the most answered that the information on the commentary service was provided by acquaintances. Many more said that they did not know if the service was free and that they hoped for other courses and experience. The most appropriate explanation time was 30 minutes to less than one hour, while the two respondents said they were willing to pay for the material. However, the survey showed that only teenagers and those aged 60 or older did not want to pay for the materials, and more people in their 20s and 50s said they were willing to pay for the materials. According to the analysis, participation of activities that have a burden on materials costs is related to economic power of each age group. Experience, play or operate activities are presented in the order of natural object crafts, eating distance, rafting experience, and bird watching. However, the respondents chose to eat food at different age groups, most likely to be teenagers, to have a raft experience in their 20s, to observe (migratory birds and plants), and to produce natural objects in their 40s and 60s. Teenagers in their teens and 30s with lower age groups prefer diverse and active experiences, while those with higher age groups prefer static ones. The most expensive respondents were no different from the age group by less than 5,000 won. Teenagers experienced the most experience in other types of service. The most memorable explanations were description of ecological resources (plant ecology), description of history culture, explanation of environment protection, and explanation of design. This is consistent with the rankings that environmental commentators think are most important and focused on. Other external factors were found to have found that people in their 30s felt less uncomfortable than other age groups. The satisfaction level of the commentary course varied depending on the average number of commentary runs per month. An average of one to two times a month was 6.33 points, and an average of more than 10 times a month was 9.33 points. This is a 3.0 point higher level of satisfaction for commentators. The higher the number of sessions per month, the more the commentators are satisfied with the course, a survey found. When looking at the overall differences between variables according to the average number of events conducted by environmental commentators, Commentators, who give one or two explanations a month, had the lowest level of satisfaction.
On the other hand, commentators, who averaged more than 10 times a month, showed the highest level of satisfaction. This is because commentators who participate in the commentary 10 times or more a month are better informed of the latest changes in the ecology and environment of the Taehwa Grand Park. This is believed to have increased satisfaction by applying external inconvenience factors or changes in the environment in advance to the description. Furthermore, the more times the commentators perform, the more their ability to explain and cope with crises, the more impact they have on their satisfaction.
From the results of this study, we proposed the action plants to improve the explanation services as follows: First, it is necessary to diversify the commentary courses, including various gardens created by the Taehwa River Garden Fair along with the existing luxury a bamboo grove. Second, it is necessary to develop ecological description programs that are differentiated by age. Third, it is necessary to promote ecological description services effectively. Fourth, it is necessary to adjust the number of explanations to improve the satisfaction level of the natural environment commentators.
