한국 창작무용 작품 양상에 나타난 사회적 이슈에 관한 연구


현대의 사회는 경제적인 발전과 테크놀러지의 발달과 함께 문화·예술 분야도 눈에 띄는 성장을 하고 있다. 특히, 삶의 질의 향상은 현대 사회인들이 문화향유에 대한 욕구도 함께 상승되어 문화·예술에 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다.
문화·예술 분야가 다양한 발전은 무용예술분야에도 많은 영향을 미치며 동반 성장하게 되었으며 순수전통예술성만 표현하였던 한국무용계에서도 대중화와 함께 사회적 이슈의 주제를 동반하는 다양한 시도들이 생겨났다.
이에 본 논문에서는 한국무용의 전통성을 담보한 한국창작무용 작품양상에서 나타난 사회적 이슈에 관한 연구를 통해 한국무용 작품의 다양성과 대중성의 확장을 알아보고자 한다.
본 논문의 내용은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 예술사회학과 무용예술의 기본적 이해를 통하여 무용예술작품의 사회적 반영과 한국 창작무용과 사회적 이슈의 연관관계에 대하여 알아보았다.
둘째, 사회적 이슈와 연관된 창작무용사례를 통하여 작품에 대중화에 대한 성공 요인과 시사점을 도출하였다.
셋째, 사회적 이슈를 소재로 삼아 한국 창작무용 공연을 기획하고, 연출, 안무 등 참여하여 공연에 대한 결과를 제시하였다.
넷째, 한국 창작무용과 사회적인 이슈가 접목이 되어 진 공연의 전 과정의 결과 평과를 통하여 사회적인 소재의 한국 창작무용의 개선 및 발전방향을 제안하였다.
본 연구를 통하여 대중성과 사회성을 반영한 한국창작무용의 작품들은 창작성을 기반으로 하는 현대무용에 비해 굉장히 적은 편이라는 것을 인지하였다. 항상 새로운 것에 시도하는 현대의 예술분야와는 달리 한국무용은 순수전통예술성을 고집하여 대중들로 하여금 고리타분함을 느끼게 하는 부분이 없지 않다. 사회가 변화하는 만큼 대중들의 관심사 부분을 한국 창작무용에 접목시켜 현대적이고 획기적인 공연을 만드는 노력이 필요할 것이며, 그에 따른 기획의 중요성과, 홍보·마케팅 부문 또한 중요할 것이다.
한국무용예술 분야의 사람들이 틀 안에 갇혀있지 않고 새로운 창작공연에 많은 관심과 시도를 하여야 할 것이다.

ABSTRACT

A Study on Social Issues Appeared in Aspects of
Korean Creative Dance Works

In the modern society, the culture·arts field has grown noticeably with economic development and technological development. In particular, the improvement in quality of life makes members of the modern society increase their desire on the enjoyment of culture and have a lot of interest on culture·arts.
The various development of the culture·arts field has affected the art of dancing field a lot and led shared growth, so Korean dance world to express only pure traditional artistry has done various attempts to accompany the topic of social issues with the public.
The paper examines the diversity of Korean dance works and the expansion of popularity through research on social issues appeared in aspects of Korean creative dance works in security for Korean dance's tradition.
The contents of this paper are as follows:
First. social reflection on the art of dancing works and the association between Korean creative dance and social issues were addressed through basic understanding of sociology of art and the art of dancing.
Second, successful factors and implications for popularizing the work through cases of the creative dance related to social issues were drawn.
Third, Korean creative dance performance was planned by making social issues as materials, and the results of the performance were presented by participating in directing, choreography.
Fourth, the improvement of Korean creative dance with social issues and its development direction were suggested through the evaluation of results of the whole process of the performance grafted with Korean creative dance and social issues.
Through this study, this researcher recognized Korean creative dance works to reflect popularity and sociality are very lack compared to modern dance based on creativity. Unlike comtemporary arts trying to new things all the time, Korean dance makes the public feel bored by sticking to pure traditional artistry. Efforts to create modern and breakthrough performance by grafting Korean creative dance with the public's interest as much as a society is changed will be needed, accordingly the importance of planning and the PR·Marketing field will be important.
People in the field of Korean art of dancing should attempt new creative performance with a lot of interest without being trapped inside the frame.
