      Beethoven is a composer who completed the Classical music and laid a foundation of Romantic music by developed his own style. Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op. 31, No. 2 medium-term work as belonging to the configuration you want to move away from traditional music formats and techniques in terms of trying to change and this song is best described by these characteristics.
      In this study recognizes the importance of Beethoven's piano sonatas of Beethoven's early, mid, to late after studying musical characteristics, Beethoven Piano Sonata Op. 31, No. 2 were analyzed.
      The first movement tempo changes and a free recitative with the insertion of the classical sonata form, has taken out of the framework. Topic 1 and Topic 2 earlier in the first movement (Largo-Allegro) of the material that came from, melody and rhythm are very contrasting in nature. The second movement is part of the development of omitting the two-part sonata form, as a typical exposition of the first variation of a theme in the recapitulation and expanded chord type appears as a delicate balancing. The third movement, rhythm, movement across the semi-quaver followed constantly by using a big feature in the form of Beethoven's mid-term pursuit of pure movement, and that can be sat in the development of a second enlarged end to a magnificent coda is shown.
      Thus Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op. 31, No. 2 the mid-piano sonatas as works with many different features, from the early reviews from the road to attempt to avoid being bound by a fixed rail or format will appear. Through this paper, an accurate understanding of the song played correctly can be the foundation of hope that will help.
