가톨릭유아교육기관 원장의 보람과 어려움 : 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

가톨릭 유아교육기관 원장의 보람과 어려움에 대해 알아보고자 포커스 그릅 인터뷰를 실시한 본 연구의 결과는 먼저 가톨릭 유아교육기관 원장의 보람은 교육자로서의 보람으로 영유아들의 성장을 지켜보는 보람과 사랑을 주고 받는 보람, 지역사회안에서 신뢰받는 보람이 있으며, 신앙인으로서의 보람으로는 신앙의 길을 보여주는 보람과 어린 선교사를 양성하는 보람, 재단 안에 소속감에서의 보람이 있다. 다음 가톨릭 유아교육기관 원장의 어려움으로는 운영상의 어려움과 그외의 어려움이 있는데 운영상의 어려움은 종교성 배제에서 오는 어려움, 과중한 행정업무에 따른 초과근무의 어려움, 재정적인 어려움, 학부모와의 관계에서의 어려움, 교사와의 관계에서의 어려움이 있으며, 운영외의 여러움으로는 재단 안에서 소외되는 여러움이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

study to discover the rewards and difficulties that directors of Catholic early childhood education institutions. Upon examining the results of this study, there can be a division made between the rewards that directors feel as educators at Catholic early childhood education institutions, the rewards that they feel as Catholic believers, First, in regards to the rewards felt as an educator, the joy of watching the growth of infants and toddlers is foremost, and it was revealed that the directors of the early childhood educational institutions care for with a higher sense of duty and feel a sense of reward towards certain children of whom it is determined lack parental love or some children who the directors regard as needing more educational attention than other children. Second, in regards to rewards felt as a Catholic believer, the directors experience a sense of reward that comes from their role of revealing the path of faith to teachers and parents as well as the example related to prayer that the children set as if they are little missionaries. Third, there is a sense of reward that can be pointed out due to the confidence of being regarded as a trustworthy early childhood educational institution within the local community. Next, in regards to the difficulties that the directors of Catholic early childhood educational institutions experience, they can be divided into administrative difficulties and other difficulties. First, in regards to administrative difficulties, there is the difficulty that the directors of Catholic early childhood educational institutions, which have the objective of missions work, feel due to the exclusion of religious activities within the curriculum. Second, there are difficulties related to heavy administrative duties and overwork. Third, there is a financial imbalance caused by the reduction of the number of children, a regulation stipulating less than a 1% increase in tuition, and the increase in personnel expenses. Fourth, in regards to difficulties related to relationships with parents, Fifth, in regards to difficulties in related to teachers. In addition, in regards to difficulties not related to administration.
