보육시설 부모교육 프로그램과 교육참여실태 및 인식조사연구 = (A) study about parents' program in upbringing institution, the actual condition about participation of education, and recognition

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 보육시설 부모교육 프로그램을 위한 기초연구로서, 유치원에서 부모를 위한 부모교육 프로그램의 운영 및 교육방법 등에 대한 학부모의 인식 및 참여도를 조사함으로서 보다 바람직한 부모교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다.
이를 위해 16문항의 질문지를 작성하였으며, 이것을 전라북도 군산에 위치 한 보육시설에 자녀를 취원시 키고 있는 부모를 대상으로 조사하였다.
이 조사에서는 150부의 설문지를 배포하였으나 이 중 133부을 회수하여 백분율에 의한 빈도처리와 x^(2)검증을 하였다.
그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
첫째, 부모의 참여를 살펴보면, 학부모의 71.0%가 보육시설에서 정기적으로 갖는 각종 모임에 참여하고 있거나 참여한 적이 있으며, 69.7%의 학부모는 자녀의 보육시설 생활실태 및 보육시설 교육을 파악하기 위해 보육시설을 방문·관찰한 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
또한 91.7%의 학부모가 면담을 한 경험이 있는 것으로 조사되었지만, 8.3%의 학부모는 자녀의 생활 및 여러사항에 대하여 교사와의 면담이 없었던 것으로 조사되었다.
그리고, 자녀가 배우는 미술, 게임, 노래 등을 보육시설에서 부모에게 가르쳐주는 모임 또는 강습회에 참여한 적이 없는 학부모가 전체의 56% 이상이 었으며, 78.1%의 학부모가 부모교육 프로그램을 통해 자녀교육 지도에 도움이 된 것으로 조사되었다.
둘째, 학부모 중 42.6%가 부모교육이 필요한 이유에 대해 올바른 자녀교육을 위해서는 부모도 교육을 받아야 한다고 응답하였고,자녀를 교육시키는데 있어서 부모의 역할이 중요하기 때문이라고 응답한 학부모도 35.2%이었다.
그리고, 학부모가 윈하는 부모교육 프로그램의 내용으로는 자녀의 성격 및 정서안정에 관한 프로그램이 가장 높았으며 , 성장발달에 따른 이해를 위한 프로그램도 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모교육 프로그램의 방향으로는 아이와 함께 하는 프로그램(45.8%)과 전문강사에 의한 강의(30.8%)를 원하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다.
부모교육 프로그램이 실시되는 시간에 대해서는 10:00-12:00이 65.1%로 가장 높게 응답되었으나, 직장을 다니는 어머니는 17:00-19:00, 퇴근후 시간을 가장 적당하다고 생각하는 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 연구에서 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다.
첫째, 학부모들은 보육시설에서 행해지고 있는 각종 모임에 많은 부모들이 참여하고 있었으나, 강습회 또는 자녀가 배우는 미술, 게임,노래 등을 가르쳐주는 모임에 참여한 비율은 낮았다. 따라서 부모교육의 개념 인식 및 필요성의 인식의 향상되어야 한다.
즉 보육시설에서의 부모교육은 소극적 형태에서 벗 어나 보다 적극적이고 전문적이며 학부모들의 참여를 유발할 수 있는 다양한 형태로 실시되어야 한다.
둘째, 부모교육의 필요성에 대해서는 올바른 자녀교육을 위해서 부모도 교육을 받아야 한다고 인식하고 있었으며, 자녀 교육에 있어서 부모의 역할을 중요하다고 생각하고 있었다. 학부모들은 부모 교육 프로그램의 방향으로는 아이와 함께 하는 프로그램을 가장 선호하고 있었으며, 전문강사에 의한 강습회도 윈하고 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is a basic research for the parents education in kindergarten, and aims to acquire basic materials on the development of more desirable program for parents in kindergarten, by investigating the recognition and participation of parents regarding to the education program operation and education method for the parents in kindergarten.
A questionnaire having 16 articles is created, and selecting a kindergarten located Kunsan city, Jeallabuk-do, besides, by this questionnaire the parents, who send their children to the kindergarten, were investigated as an objective. 150 copies of questionnaire were distributed in this investigation, but only 133 copies were returned and taken statistics by the frequency of percentage and the verification of x^2. The result is as follows:
First, for looking for the participation of parents, it is found that 71.0 percent of parents of pupil participated or have participated in the meeting of kindergarten periodically, and 69.7 percent have experiences of visiting and observation of the kindergarten for seizing life and education condition of their children in the kindergarten.
And also, 91.7 percent of parents of pupil were investigated for parents to have interviewing, but 8.3 percent had not investigated to have any interview with the teacher for the life and various aspects of their children. Parents of pupil, who never had participated in the meeting or seminar at which they can learn art, game, and song, etc. That their children learned, were 56 percent and aner among all parents, and 78.1 percent of parents of pupil were investigated to be helped for instruction of their children through parents education program.
Second, for the reason requiring the education of parents of pupil, 42.6 percent of parents of pupil responded parents should be educated for the right education of their children, and 35.2 percent respond it was because the role of parents was important in the education of their children. The education program content of parents of pupil was found highest in the program on the stable characteristic and emotion of their children, and the program for the understanding in accordance with growth and development of children showed to be needed too. In addition, the orientation of program for parents of pupil was investigated to be required by the program (45.8%) together with their children and the lecture (30.8%) from progressional instructor. The executing time of parents education program was responded as 10:00-12:00 by the 65% most highly, but Working mothers showed to consider 17:00-19:00 after work most suitable.
The result acquired from above study is as follows:
First, many parents have participated in various meetings held in the kindergarten, but they have low rate of participation of meetings teaching art, game, and song their children learned. Therefore, the concept and necessity recognition of parents education in kindergarten should be more positive and professionalized getting out of passive pattern, besides, should be performed with various patterns including the participating of parents of pupil.
Second, parents recognized parents should receive the education for the right education of their children in the aspect of necessity of parents education, and considered the parents' role was important for the education of their children. parents of pupil preferred the program together with children most, and wanted seminars by professional lecturers, too. In addition, they wanted the program for the understanding in accordance with growth and development of children and for the stable characteristics and emotion of children in the content of parents education program.
