This study is intended to examine the effect carefully that aerobic dance has on the functions of a heart and lungs on the subject of high(G1), middle(G2) and lower(G3) levels of aerobic dance. This study takes measurement, comparison and 21 analysis of the functions of the heart and lungs with a treadmill on the subjects(7high level students(G1), 7middle level students (G2) and 7low level students(G3)) to inform instructors of aerobic dance about the problem of the current aerobic dance program in Korea and to provide instructors with basic data for developing appropriate programs and activating physical education in life. The results of this study are as follows:
1. The quantity of one-time ventilation(TVE) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups.
2. The quantity of minute and hour ventilation(VE) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups in safe time.
3. A breath rate(RR) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups.
4. A heart beat rate(HR) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups.
5. A oxygen pulsation(O2/HR) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups.
6. The oxygen intake(O2) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups in safe time.
7. The quantity of carbon dioxide exhaustion(CO2) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups in safe time and the maximum quantity of the carbon dioxide exhaustion(CO2 max) shows a statistically meaningful difference(p<.05) among three groups in order of G3 1962.16±463.86㎖/min, G2 2031.00±326.29㎖/min, G1 2673.50±355.73㎖/min
8. The oxygen intake(O2/W) does not show a statistically meaningful difference among three groups but after verification indicate that G3 has more meaningful difference than G1, G2
9. Exercise lasting time shows a statistically meaningful difference(p<.01) among three groups in order of G3 37.60±121.23, G2 511.33±71.24, G1 605.83±74.19.
