대학생 자녀가 지각한 부모의 부부갈등과 대인관계문제 간의 관계 : 부모화와 자아분화의 매개효과

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학생 자녀가 지각한 부모의 부부갈등과 부모화, 자아분화, 대인관계문제 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 대학생 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제 간의 관계에서 부모화와 자아분화의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울과 경기도, 충청도, 광주광역시 소재의 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 473명(남 196명, 여 277명)을 대상으로 하여 자료를 수집하였다. 측정도구로는 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등척도(CPIC), 부모화척도(FRS-A), 자아분화척도, 대인관계문제 단축형 척도(KIIP-SC)의 자기보고식 설문지를 사용하였다.
자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0과 Amos 21.0, Mplus 6.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술 통계분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모형검증을 비롯하여 매개효과 검증 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.

첫째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등은 부모화와 대인관계문제에 유의미한 정적상관을 보였으며, 자아분화와는 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 대인관계문제는 매개변인인 부모화와 유의미한 정적상관을, 자아분화와 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다. 또한, 매개변인인 부모화와 자아분화끼리도 유의미한 부적상관을 보였다.
둘째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등, 부모화, 자아분화가 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 부모화에서 대인관계문제로 가는 간접효과는 유의했지만 직접효과는 유의하지 않았다. 그러나 자아분화에서 대인관계문제로 가는 경로는 유의미한 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제로 가는 경로에서 부모화의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 부모화는 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제에서 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
넷째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제로 가는 경로에서 자아분화의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 자아분화는 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제에서 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
다섯째, 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제로 가는 경로에서 부모화와 자아분화를 통해 이중매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

이와 같은 연구결과를 통해 본 연구는 자녀가 지각한 부부갈등과 대인관계문제 간의 관계에서 자아분화가 중요한 영향을 미치는 변인임을 증명하였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research was to examine the interrelation of Parent’s Marital Conflict, Parentification, Self-Differentiation, Interpersonal problem by the College Student Children. Also to Verify the mediating effects of Parentification and Self-Differentiation in the relationship between Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problem. The data was collected from 473 College Students (196 men and 277 woman) in Seoul, Kyunggi ProVince, Chungcheong-do and Gwangju Metropolitan City, who participated in Self-reporting questionnaire assessing. For this study, The Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale(CPIC), Parentification Scale(FRS-A), Self-Differentiation Scale and Short form of the KIIP Circumplex Scale(KIIP-SC) were used.
SPSS 21.0, Amos 21.0, and Mplus 6.0 were used to perform mediated effect analyses including descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling test. The summary of their results are the following.

First, Parent’s Marital Conflict showed a significant positive correlation with Parentification and Interpersonal problem, and Self-Differentiation showed a significant negative correlation. Interpersonal problem showed a significant positive correlation with parentification, Self-Differentiation showed a significant negative correlation. Also showed significant negative correlation between Parentification and Self-Differentiation.
Second, as a result of analyses on effects of Parent’s Marital Conflict, Parentification, Self-Differentiation and Interpersonal problem, indirect effects of Parent’s Marital Conflict and Parentification to Interpersonal problem were significant, but the direct effects were not significant. But Self-Differentiation to Interpersonal problem showed a significant negative effect.
Third, after investigating the mediating effect of Parentification in relation to Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problem, there was no mediating effect of Parentification between Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problem.
Fourth, after investigating the mediating effect of Self-Differentiation in the course of Parent’s Marital Conflict to Interpersonal problem, Self-Differentiation in relations to Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problemthere showed full mediating effect.
Fifth, in the relationship between Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problem, Parentification and Self-Differentiation showed double mediating effect.

These results show that between Parent’s Marital Conflict and Interpersonal problem of college students, Self-Differentiation is the main variable that has an impact. The significance, limitations, and suggestions for future studies are discussed.
