공관복음의 풍랑제어사건 비교연구 = A Comparative Study on the Tempest Control Incident in the Synoptic Gospels

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신약성경의 사복음서는 유사점과 상이점들을 갖고 있다. 특히 공관복음서는 사용하는 단어 문장 구조까지 동일한 구절들이 나타나기에 오랜 기간동안 많은 연구자들의 관심을 끌어왔고 최근에는 그 상이점들이 각 저자들의 관점에 의해 편집되어 왔다고 하는 것으로 이해하여 각 책의 신학적 관점을 이해하려는 노력이 많이 이뤄지고 있다. 본 연구도 풍랑사건이 갖고 있는 유사점과 상이점들을 각 저자의 관점 속에서 이해해보려는 시도이다. 이 연구를 통해 복음서 각각의 특징과 관점을 파악 할 때 풍랑 사건이 주는 교훈을 더 확실히 이해할 수 있을 것이다.
본 연구를 위해 먼저 공관복음서 내에서 이적의 위치와 메시지를 살펴보았다. 풍랑사건은 여러종류의 기사중에 이적기사로써 이적사건을 각 복음서가 어떻게 사용하고 있는지에 대하여 알아보았는데 마태는 예수의 이적을 구약 성경의 메시아의 성취로써 제시하고 있었고 마가는 이적을 행하는 예수의 능력을 증거하는데, 이 능력은 하나님에게서 온 것임을 강조한다. 마가는 특히 이적을 귀신축출과 연관하여 사단의 권세에서 승리하신 승리자 예수그리스도를 나타내려하고 있다. 그리고 누가는 이적을 통해 드러난 하나님의 능력을 증거하는데 이것은 이적의 반응에서 놀람이나 두려움이 아닌 하나님을 찬양하는 것으로 잘 드러나고 있을 알았다. 이런 배경하에 제3장에서는 각 복음서내의 유사성과 독특한 기록들을 살펴보았는데 전후 사건, 단어 사용, 사건의 전개 순서, 내용상의 독특성을 확인해 보았고 이와 같은 독특성을 제4장에서 각 복음서의 신학적 관점안에서 이해하고 해결하려는 시도를 해보았는데 마태는 풍랑사건을 제자도 설명이후에 기록하여 제자도의 한 예시로써 풍랑을 사용하고 있다. 제자도의 길은 고난이 배제된 길이 아니지만 예수안에서 고난을 승리하는 것이다. 그리고 ‘풍랑’이란 단어 사용에서 ‘지진’이란 단어를 사용하는데 이 ‘지진’이란 단어는 예수의 죽음과 십자가 그리고 부활과 연관되어 마태복음에서만 쓰이는데 예수의 수난과 은유적으로 암시하려는 것으로 이해하였다. 마가는 풍랑사건을 하나님 나라의 비유과 연결된 사건으로 단어적으로 연결하고 이후에 귀신축출사건을 바로 기록하는데 이는 하나님 나라의 도래의 예시로써 사탄에 대한 하나님의 승리를 증거한다. 풍랑을 통해 죄의 권세를 이기신 예수의 능력을 강조하는 것이다. 그리고 누가는 그 특징에 있어 제자들의 모습을 좀더 나은 모습으로 보여주고 풍랑사건을 마가와 같이 귀신축출 사건과 연관시켜 사탄에 대한 하나님 나라의 승리를 나타내고 있음을 확인하여다.
풍랑사건은 공관복음서내에서 많은 독특성을 갖고 있다. 이것을 무시하고 동일하게 사건을 이해할 때 복음서가 말하려고 하는 그 다양한 메시지를 간과하게 될 수 있는데 본 연구를 통해 풍랑사건이 주는 교훈을 좀 더 다양한 관점안에서 살펴 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Four Gospels in the New Testament have similarities and differences. Especially, the Synoptic Gospels have received a lot of attention from many researchers for a long time because they used the same vocabulary, sentences, structure, and paragraphs. Recently a lot of efforts to understand theological viewpoints of each book have been made because some people consider that these differences were edited by each writer's viewpoint. This study tries to understand similarities and differences of Tempest Incident by each writer's viewpoint. When we grasp each characteristic and viewpoint of the Gospels through this study, we can understand lessons of The Tempest Incident more clearly.
I examined the location and message of miracles in the Synoptic Gospels. The Tempest Incident was one of the miracles and I researched how each Gospel used this. Matthew presented Jesus' miracles as the Messiah's accomplishment of the Old Testament. Mark proved Jesus' power through miracles and emphasized that this power came from God. Mark especially tried to show the victor, Jesus Christ who overcame Satan's power, relating this miracle with the Expulsion of Demons. Luke testified of God's power by this miracle and this was not a surprise or something to be afraid of, but praise to God. Under this background, chapter 3 looks at the similarities and unique records in each Gospel and verifies (1) sequences of incidents (2) using words (3) order of incident's development (4) peculiarity of contents. In Chapter 4, I try out to understand and to solve this peculiarity within the theological viewpoint of each Gospel and Matthew used the tempest as an example of discipleship by mentioning The Tempest Incident right after the explanation of discipleship. The way of discipleship has hardships, but is to triumph from these hardships in Jesus. And using the word 'tempest' means 'earthquake' and this 'earthquake' was used for Jesus' death, cross, and resurrection in Matthew only - I understand that this implies the sufferings of Jesus metaphorically.
Mark connected The Tempest Incident with the incident related to the parable of God's kingdom by mentioning as one occuring "the night before" and then wrote about the Expulsion of Demons - this testifies of God's victory against Satan as an example of reality of God's kingdom. Jesus' power overcoming sin's power is stressed through the tempest. In Luke the disciples are protrayed to have better characteristics and identified the victory of God's kingdom against Satan, relating The Tempest Incident with The Expulsion of Demons as Mark did.
The Tempest Incident has many peculiarities in the Synoptic Gospels. When we ignore this point and understand this incident equally in each Gospel, we may overlook various messages that the Gospels try to tell us. I examined the lessons of this Tempest Incident in many various viewpoints. The purpose of this study is to Indicate objective material to find out
