Water quality is not certain about time-spatially and changing continuously in environment. So, it is necessary that water quality is measured continuously to achieve a stream water quality management.
Construction of Early Warning System is need to prevent water quality pollution accidents and understand stream conditions, Therefore, a role of automatical water quality monitoring system is very important. Automatical Water Quality Monitoring Systems is consist of auto-equipments(station), telemetering system, and computer.
This study was analyzed about Optimal Site Analysis of Early Warning System and Prior ranking analysis to establish Automatical Water Quality Monitoring Systems in Keum River, Korea.
To analyze optimal sites, we investigated many informations(water supply populations, intake facilities, treatment facilities, tributaries to the Keum River and locational water quality pollution accidents) using a GIS in Keum River basin.
As making standards and checking the validity, prior ranking analysis was executed about establish candidate locations, therefore 6 sites selected.
As a result of Optimal Site Analysis of automatical water qualify monitoring system, site selection standards have some problems and it is necessary that suitable application standard able to reflect stream conditions.
