치매노인과 아동을 위한 몬테소리 뎁스(deps)프로그램 개발과 효과성 검증에 관한 연구 = (A) study on development of montessori deps program for the aged with dementia and children and verification of its effectiveness

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 몬테소리 이론을 바탕으로 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램을 개발하고 개발된 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동의 사회적응력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 치매노인과 아동의 사회적응력을 향상시키기 위한 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램을 적용한 후 본 연구의 연구문제 달성에 미친 영향을 요약하면 다음과 같다.

첫째, 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동의 신체․동작적 기능 향상에 미친 영향은 치매노인의 경우, 실험집단의 신체․동작적 기능을 유의미하게 증가시켰으나, 아동의 경우는 실험집단의 신체․동작적 기능은 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인의 신체․동작적 기능을 향상시키는데는 효과적이었으나 아동의 신체․동작적 기능을 향상시키는데는 효과적이지 못한 것으로 나타났다.

둘째, 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동의 심리․정서적 기능 향상에 미친 영향은 치매노인의 경우, 실험집단의 심리․정서적 기능은 매우 유의미하게 증가 된 것으로 나타났고, 아동의 경우도 실험집단의 심리․정서적 기능의 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동 모두의 심리․정서적 기능을 향상시키는데 효과적임을 보여주었다.

셋째, 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동의 감각․인지적 기능 향상에 미친 영향은 치매노인의 경우, 실험집단의 감각․인지적 기능은 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 아동의 경우, 실험집단의 감각․인지적 기능은 유의미하게 증가 되었다. 따라서 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인의 감각․인지적 기능을 향상시키는데는 효과적이지 못하였으나 아동의 감각․인지적 기능을 향상시키는데는 효과적이었음을 보여주었다.

넷째, 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동의 사회적 기능 향상에 미친 영향은 치매노인의 경우, 실험집단의 사회적 기능은 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 아동의 경우도 실험집단의 사회적 기능이 유의미하게 증가된 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 몬테소리 뎁스(DEPS) 프로그램이 치매노인과 아동 모두의 사회적 기능을 향상시키는데 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on development of Montessori DEPS program
for the aged with dementia and children
and verification of its effectiveness

The study aims to develop Montessori DEPS program and to verify the developed Montessori DEPS program's effects on social adaptation of the aged with dementia and children. After applying Montessori DEPS program in order to enhance social adaptation of the aged with dementia and children, the influences of achieving the study's goal is summarized as follows:

First, for influences on enhancement of physical and action functions of the aged with dementia and children by Montessori DEPS program, there was significant increase in the experiment group for the aged with dementia while there was no difference of physical and action functions of the experiment group in children. Accordingly, Montessori DEPS program is effective to enhance physical and action functions of the aged with dementia but not children.

Second, for influences on enhancement of psychological and emotional functions of the aged with dementia and children by Montessori DEPS program, the experiment groups in both the aged with dementia and children showed significant increases and it was remarkable in the aged with dementia. Therefore, Montessori DEPS program is effective to enhance psychological and emotional functions of both the aged with dementia and children.

Third, for influences on enhancement of sense and recognition functions of the aged with dementia and children by Montessori DEPS program, there was no significant difference of the experiment group in the aged with dementia. However, children's experiment group showed significant increase in its sense and recognition functions. So Montessori DEPS program is not effective for improving sense and recognition functions of the aged with dementia but those of children.

Fourth, for influences on enhancement of social functions of the aged with dementia and children by Montessori DEPS program, there were significant differences in the experiment groups of both the aged with dementia and children. As a result, it turned out Montessori DEPS program is effective to enhance social functions of both the aged with dementia and children.
